I do wonder about you sometimes, Peter. ;)

Morning all,

Would just like to stick £10 on big Stuey Nichols, with a further £2.50 contributed for each half stone he manages to lose.

I'd like to reinforce my view that I think Stu looks great the way he is and doesn't need to change his appearance for anyone, however, I know how much he wants to do this so I feel I need to support him. Stuey transmits so much energy into running the supporters coaches and performs a selfless task for the benefit of all the greater Bluebirds, while expecting little reward or gratitude in return, though I know how much the majority of us appreciate his efforts I think we should repay it by supporting him in this challenge. I've heard a rumour that Stuart likes to party all of the time, so this will definitely be a tough task for him to relinquish some of the extravagant aspects of his rock & roll lifestyle.

£5 for each stone lost.

Additional £20 if Stu loses the most.

Hello Dave, pictures exist of the initial weigh off in The Ambrose between myself and Stu, perhaps Robbo can putt it on here. By the wonder of modern technology, Pete sent a screenshot of his weight at the same time.

The initial weights and scales were placed in a secure environment (eg The office in the pub) by an upstanding local builder, who doubled as Norris McQuirter for the occasion.

I am happy to disclose my own weight was a gargantuan 18 stone 9 :(

Stu I don't think it unfair to say it was broadly similar, Pete less but it's up to them if they say.

We are working on it being easier to pay etc, but please put any pledges on here for now they are much appreciated.

CEREAL UPDATE: Stu had Special K this morning, I went for Alpen- this will be difficult as I find fruit, nuts and cereal slightly deviant. Mattesons have also been on the telephone begging me not to eschew their processed frankenfoods for the duration- smoky sausage adieu! I am going for something called a walk in a minute also #prayforfatbloke

So it'll be low calorie water to drink at Hyde, then? :)

I think I was 17 and a bit stone, have deleted the picture off my phone.

I think the best way of collecting the money is via the trusts paypal which is info@bluebirdstrust.Co.uk

I'll do a spreadsheet when I've got a few minutes that will calculate what folk owe what at the end.

Pledge list at the start of the topic is hopefully updated, lemme know if I've missed any.

Please keep adding, the more pledges the better and it all goes to the trust!

Looking like Big Red's got the eye of the tiger there.

Well done lads- £5 for each taking part and 50p per lb lost to whoever finishes in third place!

£50 if Stuey Nipps wins and all 3 competitors lose at least a stone each (just so he doesn't win by default ;-) ).
10p for every lb lost.

 GAME ON NICHOLS

This is hell, how can you live without daily sausages and beer and now I have been informed that drinking pints of Bovril instead of sugared coffee isn't actually that healthy.

Stu means business, we even walked to Ramsden square for the bus this morning.
