A bad injury to one of the our more consistently better players this season, couldn't have happened at a worse time for Edmo as well.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Yup. good player for us . Injuries too Pilks and Wilson have not helped , we would be 6-9 pts better off if everybody was fully fit I'd say! Any news on Wilson will he be back for Sat !? Cook needs help up top badly now !

May as well scrap the Official Website. From Wrexham forum,,,,Re: Neil Ashton's injury
Took this from the Barrow supporters forum - it's about the only clue as to the extent of the injury. Nothing on the Barrow official site (not even the match result) or twitter accounts. Lets hope NA is fine and wish him well for a speedy recovery.

Talking [SwearFilter] again
We would be a couple of wins better off if Pilks and Wilson were fit . Jase and Cook have been making chances , but nobody is in the box too help put the ball in the net. I don't know how people can get angry with Wilson not his fault he's out injured , VDB may be happy too be out picking up the cash , but Wilson is down and [SwearFilter] off ! He really can't wait too be fully fit and re pay Barrow AFC

It's Monday morning and there's still no mention of the Ashton injury or the Wrexham game on the official site.

Just realised we don't do match reports. Haven't looked at the official site for months. Nothing of interest on it. Surely things like the Ashton injury should be mentioned though.
Lower league clubs do a better job with their official sites.

Hope Ashton makes a swift recovery, never nice to see a player sustain a serious injury.

As for the lack of info on the official website, well, we may be a 'business' with all that implies but we still seem to be operating in the early 1990s in terms of communication to the outside world. I bet there's a full report on the Soccerline. (young 'uns, ask your Dad...)

I think were stuck in a contract regarding the official website, where as only the company can update it (never heard of such a thing).

PC has been quoted as saying 'it will get worse', why on earth are we being held to ransom by some small time web design company?! Sack them off, go buy barrowafc.co.uk or whatevers available, get someone to whip us up a basic website which we can update DAILY. No one is bothered about being able to select and sponsor scott maxfields left boot and pay via western union all on one page, just a website with information on, all of which can be pulled from the old one anyway, then get the 6th form work experience girl who runs our commercial side to update it.

haha!

I gave some laughs reading that post.

That 6th form lass would have been enjoying half term hence the clubs shut down for a week.
