Rest in piece Ted. A great lifetime achievement to be on the terraces for so long.

Ted was an amazing man and will be sadly missed. Hopefully the club can pay tribute. My condolences Gaffer, the Holker St won't be the same without him :(

Godspeed Ted

I'm sure our grandad deserves a minutes silence at the next home game. Would everyone agree??

Can you speak with thegaffer77 (Paul) we've already PM'd each other a couple of times and I'm just waiting for him to get back to me.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Spirit, I will PM a few words this evening. Thanks for all your support everyone. Great to see the Barrow AFC family coming together. I think maybe 'applause' might be better, however, that's up to the powers that be and when they want it read out. I think any gesture for the passing of a 97 year old fan would be great. Cheers guys.

I didn't know Ted but suspect he had one helluva sense of humour - what a trooper!
Well deserving of a good send off at the FBSS.

Hi all, thank you for all of the kind words and messages. The club will be giving a tribute to Ted on Saturday v Cheltenham. Thank you to Ian for sorting and Bob for allowing a piece in the programme. We gave grandad a great send off on Friday and hope the team does the trick on Saturday!
