What is to stop them gaining entry into Holker Street for the remaining home games?

Will there be photos of the offenders at each turnstile?

Are they to report to the police station at 19:45 Tuesday & 15:00 for the other 2 home games?

How will it be policed???

As they were probably banned on the recommendation of the police I'm sure they will be looking out for them.

4 police in a crowd of 1200 they are going to have to be vigilant, unless they have photographic memories!!

I suppose our Stewards will be looking for them also, it's a shame they could not spot people smoking in the Wilkie Stand last Saturday.

Double edged sword for me this, Footy is an emotional game & over the top celebrations should not imo lead to bans, I'm sure this law was invented to protect the Players & Officials from any aggressive people from confronting them, This law is lax as it seems to be imposed differently as every season in Cup games or Promotion or escaping Relegation its acceptable, then other times it's not?

I have heard on the RC & seem in the mail where some sections of the away fans at Holker St encroached onto the pitch when they have scored, Have they all been ejected from the ground? If not why not? If Yes, Fair enough.

Holker St would be half empty if everyone who invaded the pitch at Lowie copped a ban, Common sense should prevail.

1st offense = Ejection & Warning that next time you'll miss the rest of the season.
2nd offense = Season Ban.
3rd offense Lifetime Ban.

Above all For happy pitch encroachment, All aggressive invaders automatically get a Lifetime Ban, no arguments.

At Lowestoft the stewards opened the gates so folk could get on the pitch more easily.

Wasn't the pitch encroachment at Chester after Barrow scored, whereas some of the other examples quoted above were after the game had finished?

I have to confess to my shame that I have invaded the pitch twice - once after the final whistle in an FA Cup tie at Chester in 1962, which we won against all expectations, and after the final whistle when we beat Brentord to win promotion in 1967. I don't think anyone can complain about being collared if they go onto the pitch before the final whistle.

Got to laugh at this 'Family club' nonsense they keep banging on about! Was it a family club when they were brushing Edmo's blatant and public sexist abuse aimed at a match official under the carpet? Or when a board member was caught fighting at an away game only to be 'spoken to' about their behaviour? No, it cant just be when it suits them!

rite. do crime get caught no complaints about doing the time. risk they all take. should not be a crime though. common sense. if attacking ref or disrupt game then obvious ban. if celebrating goal then what is wrong. all i saw at chester was lads enjoying a day out.
