Saw Williams a few time on box for Barnsley. Said to a mate he was well out of his depth up there. Yes he played regularly for them (also wembley teams) But always out of position. Am sure he`d do a job here though. Maybe.

He is on an 18 month contract with Barnsley signed at the end of January.

I'd go more along with that view. Thought he was reasonably steady but never quite got why people rated him so highly. He'd do a job I guess but I wouldn't be doing cartwheels if we signed him.

Interesting,though perhaps insignificant,comment re-Sutton on Deva Chat. One fan questioned if perhaps he was a target for them.Another replied that"he had moved out of his house in Hoole(a suburb of Chester) so it seemed highly unlikely ".
