Phew, what looked like a comfortable 3pts turned into a bit of a nailbiter, could and should have been 3 or 4 at half time, really need to start putting these games to bed. Still 3 more points and should be another 3 on Tuesday.

Nervous last half hour, easy first half but that all a changed after 2 very good chances early 2nd half for barrow but neither came off.
Great save from Dixon to keep it 2 -1 well played to all the lads

What was the attendance guys?

solid from lads today. on antibiotics so no booze back home already. they set up 3 in middle tryin to lock everything up go 2 down never going to get anything from game. williams excellent again. but i would not no this as i am part timer eh whitty. rubbish. time for pizza and early night

After about 50 minutes they'd been the worst side we'd faced at home all season. For the next 40 they were great and Barrow just looked shellshocked.
Williams was okay (not sure what the debate above is about) but tried to do too much himself again, Yates was great, and Beeley 's first half was as good a 45 mins he's had yet.
Great stop by Dixon to keep it 2-1, but defence looked sloppy and nervy at that point.
Akil Wright to start on Tuesday, I reckon.

On a side note, the stewards on the popular side were turning away unaccompanied teenagers, because of their antics on Tuesday night...

We got away with one there, like cox said earlier in the season, these things balance themselves out over the course of the campaign. We got our slice of luck back from the Unlucky late goals v bromley and borehamwood. Another 3pts, unbeaten run continues, just a pity everyone around us in the table isnt dropping points either. Hopefully a more comfortable win tuesday against bottom of the table.

Fortunately FG got mugged at the end by Lincoln, which means the chasin pack are still just in touch.

no easy games in this league

Special mention to Dixon for that save he pulled off at 2-1, came through a crowd of players and that proved to be a match winning save. He's come in for a lot of grief so credit the guy when he pulls that sort of save off. Quality reaction save well done.

Once they had scored we seemed overrun in midfield and virtually every clearance was a panic measure allowing Solihull to put us under pressure. Having said that we should have been out of sight in the first half if we had taken some very good chances. I thought Jordan Williams had a poor game today by his standards. However three points in the bag: bring on Tuesday.
