Enjoyed that but apart from Harvey and Panayiotou i didn't have a clue who any of them were second half!! Lots of A Trialists out there and some very young faces. Did well though

Stand out player for me was the right back used in first half who looked very useful and the centre half (5 I think) second half.

No 5 was Jimmy Dunn who was the only Barrow player who played the full match.

Couldn't make it tonight, but the club tweeted that 5 was a trialist and Dunne on the bench. On Saturday it was number 5 that played the full game, later confirmed to be Coll Donaldson.

They changed it just before kick off. Dunne played in place of the trialist. Trialist in goal instead of Moore and Gomis instead of Harvey.

Are those the ones from last time he said that?

Another positive performance, like look of Moore and McCabe in goals, right back first Half was good, gomis and hall give good balance in centre midfield and then Harvey came on and was excellent. Highlight was a quality header on holker street end in second half.

Sctooish football is poor if that's a top level team who's competitive games start this weekend.

Fair enough. Also, Dunne looked decent on Saturday, so I reckon we might just have a gem of a player.
I've read the report now, and it mentions Colin McCabe in goal and confirmation that Bennett has been offered improved terms.

Good to see teams from over the border. Was hoping to see how we performed what I thought would be a sharp Motherwell side, Was a little disappointed by them as much as I am with Panayiotou, I'm waiting to see what he brings to the team, hope he proves me wrong and comes good.

Although not a very competitive game I thought Bennett and White looked a good partnership. Number 22 I think? Playing at the back did well 2nd half and I was impressed by Harvey on Saturday. Pity about the home support on both occasions but suppose that's pre season for you

Enjoyable game, got confused myself with who was who. McCabe who I thought was Moore played well, commanding of his box and a good communicator. No7 Fitzpatrick had a decent first half and No8 Gomis also. The No2 looked the part also, Jordan White took his goal well after a peach of a cross from Fitzpatrick.

Second half Moore was solid when called upon the blonde haired centre back may be worth another look, but Jimmy Dunne was the one that stood out throughout for me though.

Motherwell looked like the side that were at the begining of their pre- season and we looked the more polished out of the two as we acquited ourselves well throughout.

Still early days but credit to Paul Cox and Co, also decent football on show for those that prefer their football played on the park ;)

I think the state of the Scottish League was shown by Rangers losing to the 4th best team in the Luxembourg league!

I thought the same on Saturday Mark, they looked comfortable playing that style as well.
