I'll support him. I'm not moaning about the appointment itself. However all the bullshit attached with it like the fact Andrew said he was looking for a better manager than Paul Cox is the thing that really [SwearFilter] me off!

Think I was correct in saying Casson is interfering In team affairs

In the statement he confirms Micky was asked to play a new style of playing

Puppet manager who is also cheap option

Certainly a lot of thought went into the decision 😁

Six games with only one win to make this decision

Absolutely clueless

However it is what it is,if I go I will support the team and the manager but it's about time we maybe gave slim a former member of this forum some slack as he has been proved correct and Pedro too by this decision.

Btw I really hope I'm on here at end of season saying I got it wrong and it was the correct decision to appoint Moore.

Its only a year extension on his current deal.

To me its a case of having to pay him off to be able to bring in a new manager and his assistant on two wages would mean 3 sets of investments. Alternatively they keep the investment already made in him and bring an assistant in cheaper.

This is an extremely bad move for the club. Hes won 1 from 6 and they've played some poor poor sides in that time.

Very very underwhelming. Never had a go at the cassons b4 but this is a very poor appointment IMO.what happened to the next manager being better or equal to Cox?a long long relegation battle ahead IMO(hope I'm wrong).I certainly won't be pushing myself to games like I did v guiesley in torrential rain.not impressed at all

When even the usual positive Barrow fans are against this you've got a problem

Usual load of rubbish in the statement

Disappointed and DC can put his statement in the bin where it belongs. Can you not just admit that your going for the cheaper option because your cutting expenses? People probably could except that

Not surprised. If we play like we did against BW then we should be safe. Play like we did against Torquay (second best and clueless) , then it's going to be a long season.

Absolute joke, what the hell has he done to convince Casson he's the man for the job?? The only reason he's been picked is that he is the cheap option!

You would of thought after all this time Moore would of had his back room team all sorted, especially bearing in mind that Bignuts was only ever helping out a friend.
Only time will tell if we have the right man, personally remain unconvinced but will give him an appropriate timescale to prove otherwise.

Awful Statement wrote: I have seen dozens of CV’s come across my desk and the Chairman and I have spoken to several of the more qualified candidates, but at the end of the day, we like what we have seen from Micky and think what he brings is necessary for the next stage of the club’s growth
So basically the club haven't appointed the best qualified for the job.
Awful Statement wrote:Micky was asked to make changes to the style of play to produce more exciting football for supporters and give the players a chance to flourish. He has done very well implementing those changes and we see that in the attitude and commitment of the players. The final results haven’t gone our way, but outside of a lacklustre display against Torquay, the commitment has been excellent and the performances are improving.
Where do you begin with that? hahahahaha

Seems like a decent performance against Boreham wood disregarding the other 5 games is enough to get the job, I hope I'm proved wrong but everything about this appointment is depressing
