An interesting draw for sure.

I must automatically debunk the money bags statement. It's simply not true.

For anyone who doesn't know the club are based in Barnsley and groundshare with Athersley Recreation at Sheerien Park.

:scarf:
Thanks for that information.

Top of the Evo-stik Premier Division. Only lost one game at home.

They're based in Barnsley - let's hope The Tykes are away that day!
Cromwell's Ghost could tell a tale about an encounter once with Barnsley. The infamous Barrow Boot Boys received a good kicking from them, I'm led to believe...

C'mon, Dave; spill the beans... :D ;)

Get real! That's a tough draw!
Did you say Lancaster,oh my it is a toughly then. South Shields v Hartlepool is a cracker.
You need to smarten up! Do your homework son...look at some stats...top of their league and only beaten once at home. You think it'll be easy?

A potential banana skin! I wonder if our current boss will receive the same treatment as Edmo if we go out? ;)

Sadly, Barnsley are at home to Middlesbrough on the 14th.

Could the Yorkshire Police switch the cup game to Sunday then? Our plod probably would.

Bad for you. Good for us... :D

I think I read somewhere that your record attendance is 900+
Is that correct?

A friendly at that. Off the top of my head I don't know our competitive highest attendance. Would have been vs Lincoln in the Trophy last season had the FA not kicked us out for their admin error.

That will depend on how many you're likely to bring. Shaw Lane struggle to get 300 at the minute (302 against Lancaster on Saturday). I would doubt a move would happen.

Very tricky draw & for our sanity we need to scrape through this & gain a little confidence as we can not buy a win ATM

We'll probably bring 150 tops. Could be looking at 500+ crowd...

Tricky tie but it's a great chance to progress into the first round proper and hopefully start a run to the 3rd round again. Hope the loan players will be allowed to play

Don’t see that many going to this. Not with our current form. Not many will bother.
