I don't remember Christmas Day games, but one of my Boxing Day tasks was to go with my Dad to the Cemetery Cottages club for a couple of frames of snooker and the odd pint or three before going to Holker Street.

It was an arrangement that was mutually agreeable to us and to the relatives!
