It's ok Zak I got it. But far too complicated and would take 3 years to sort out !!!!!!! The noes have it, the noes have it.
Keep Ian Evatt. The rest he will sort out.

I can understand both your points (jo am back,Tommy) but, we ALL comment on how good or how bad players are during the season to varying degrees. Some express their opinion during a game from the terraces, some on here. This isn’t much different really.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Just let the management sort out who stays or goes and enjoy the pre-season when it comes.

Maybe the criticism will give a few players the kick up the arse they need to prove people wrong? Certainly players like Kay, Hindle, Granite, Hird and Barthram should look to prove they are worth keeping on with their next few appearances. That said, Evatt has probably made his mind up on all those players.

Imo the only person worth talking about keeping at the present time is Ian Evatt
everyone is entitled to their opinion, deal with it

I'm sure Evatt reads this forum and I'm sure he takes on board the views of the fans.

I’d like IE to invite the U21 lads to pre-season training, if any of them are capable of making the step up it would save the club a vast amount of money.

Keep the majority of the squad with the addition of a big physical defender & a much needed striker.

Luke Trotman - a right back/wing back from Darlington looked good (aged 21) - can run all day and cross the ball well.
Kurt Willoughby striker with FC United - scored for England and 18 goals for a struggling FC United team - may well leave them if they get relegated as looks likely (aged 21)
Kurt Willoughby is class is CN level, could easily do a job for us.

As always one key signing right through the spine of the team (centre back, centre midfield, centre forward) would make a huge difference. Definitely need wing backs, would blooming love to see Norrington Davies back but can’t see it sadly
From this season’s squad (of our players) would be happy enough if Dixon, Jones, Granite, Taylor, Hardcastle all started the first game next season; rest I wouldn’t be bothered either way tbh

Too early to speculate about contracted players staying/going, and too early to indicate preferences regarding them while this season is still underway.
As we all know this league is packed with journeymen, and there is a great deal of movement in the close season; most players are on very short term contracts. It’s different with loanees, and there are masses of them. I was (very pleasantly) surprised Hardcastle signed full time for us at this early stage, as a loanee. Sadly I think all our other ones will leave, but there will be some crackers available from elsewhere next season. Loanees have been some of our best players in recent times....Norrington-Davies, Dunne, Yates, Smith, and many others.
I’ve no doubt that Evatt will be thinking about it all already, and who he will be targeting in the close season. We will just have to be patient and leave it to him....In my opinion we are exceptionally lucky to have him, not least because he seems to be able to spot a player and then get them to come to Barrow.
As ever, money will be a huge factor.
