Seen him play for FCUM once, unless it was a one off he’s quality & stood out a mile on the day.
I'd argue that it was far from a one-off. 18 goals this season for FC United - made even more impressive given they were relegated from the North this season. Quite certain he has left the club, too.
He also played and scored for the England C team against Wales a couple of months ago - the same one Dan Jones played in.

And there’s me thinking that someone who has been retired for 8 years was coming back to play. How silly of me

Has your wheelie bin scored 15 goals at this level?

Probably won't fall within our budget.

15 is still better than top goal scorer Jack Hindle (12) got this year.

I am not saying I would have Bennett back - players returning to a former club do not always produce the goods and his wage expectations may well be higher than we are willing to pay, but it is a better record than what we have now.

Players returning is always a contentious subject. If I remember correctly 2-3 years back two former players turned up in PSF's. Allegedly they were offered nothing or a derisory contract and moved on. Both have played in the play-offs this week, Paul Rutherford for Wrexham and Andy Bond for Fylde (set to make his second and third Wembley appearance in the near future)

He might end up at Morecambe or try and stay in the league with someone else ,coming here would be seen as a backward move.
I do not think we could afford him

His goals kept Morecambe up, they’d be daft not to sign him
