I made a Post on Feb. 25 that stated, due to Coronavirus '
football games might be cancelled'
I was ridiculed by some, '
will never happen', from one,
'give it a rest' from another, etc'.
One Member even requested the Moderator delete the thread.

Only 2-weeks later football games ARE now being cancelled, or might be played behind Closed Doors.
The experts say that we've seen nothing yet and much worse is to come. This virus is extremely serious and potentially deadly and many will be affected.
So I sincerely hope and trust there will no further derogatory or sceptical remarks from any forum members on the subject, because for one thing, aside from football, some people, especially the elderly
WILL DIE.
They've even just cancelled the 'Coronavirus Conference,
due to Coronavirus'.
lol.

It should be left up to the individual to decide whether you want to go to a game or not. I for one will just be carrying on as normal

Just had my flights cancelled for April, had planned to go to Halifax and Yeovil games, just my luck, my brothers in Poole were coming to the Yeovil game also. Nothing to be done, situation bad here and l think you're about 3 weeks behind us. All l can say is win this league for us and l will start planning for Bolton away! Forza Bluebirds you can do this.

If you think your vulnerable stay at home I for 1 will not be changing anything.
More people getting killed on roads everyday nobody is banning traffic.
Seems to me it's the elderly with underlying problems that are in danger if that's you then stay indoors and look after yourselves for the rest of us it's just the flu

Get over yourself. 168 people in another country
We are not in Milan.
It’s the flu. Do you raise concerns that more people have died of the flu worldwide than Coronavirus.....NO
Get off the corona bandwagon and get on the bluebirds bandwagon. Come in a mask and paper overalls if your worried

Genuine question to you, cottingham and fazered...what point would it need to get to for it to become a concern/worry in your opinion?

I would only start getting concerned if there was a few deaths a week in barrow. The news always reports the death and then says with underlying health issues!
Genuinely I really think that it is just another bird flu

On a serious note the level of disruption that we will face will depend on the threshold for what size crowds/how far down the pyramid playing behind closed doors/postponements will stretch can almost certainly say that will include the Premier League and most (if not all) of the football league.
Like all aspects of life everything is very much up in the air at the moment as there is no precedence for this.

Why Jesus Christ?
Does the normal flu worry you?
How many elderly die of the flu in barrow every year? 10 or more?
How many young and middle aged do? None maybe one
Don’t panic wash your hands catch your sneezes and coughs and not a problem

If the Barrow area becomes a cluster and travel restrictions are imposed there will be no matches taking place. Then I would reconsider how to protect myself

Forgot that our local derby is against Roma.
Silly me
Did you also worry when bird flu was rife in China
Did you lock your door and only peer through your letterbox. Maybe you can’t now for all the toilet roll and hand wash you have stored behind your door.

As long as it's not in your backyard it's ok.
As
long as you are not elderly it's ok. As long as you can get to Holker Street it"s ok.
As long as you don't get its it's ok.
If you need to phone 111 I hope they tell you to [SwearFilter] off.
If a member of your family died because of it would you still take the [SwearFilter]!!
You call yourself blue future. Thousands won't have one.
