I think the weather will play a part but im going for a scrappy 2-0 to Barrow
This for me, don't change a winning team, if it goes tits up change then x

Yes I feel the key is can Barrow defend effectively and cut out the mistakes. You all accept that a player can score a brilliant goal against you are a victim of conceding a well worked team goal. But is the unnecessary/avoidable goals that are hurting us.

The Bantams are likely to be without influential players Novak and Guthrie both of whom have picked up injuries recently. This means 37year old Clayton Donaldson will probably start up front alongside 32 year old Billy Clarke. Fine players in their day but both a little long in the tooth. Bradford's performance against Bolton in midweek was described by their own fans as abject and there is already a fair amount of negativity around manager Stuart McCall.

As with other L2 teams the thought of a possible defeat against a side they had forgotten about nearly half a century ago is for many of their supporters unthinkable. This may be a good time to play them.

Don't think they will be able to live with us, 3-1, Angus, Jones & Platt

Barrow 5-Bradford 4

Seriously though, cut out the errors at the back and play like Tuesday and I can see 3-0 happening. :scarf:
We hate Carlisle United, we hate Workington too (and Morecambe), we hate Accrington Stanley but Barrow we love you :scarf:

One word: Emley.
Oh yes. Gale force winds, snow and hail coming dow horizontal. The first few rows of the small stand were frozen solid. Happy Unibond day's!!!!!
What year was it Jamie 199?
I was wondering that too. And just to add to the misery I'm reasonably sure the match ended 0-0, but the only 0-0 draws I can find at Emley on a Monday night in the 1990s were two; one in August and one in April when I wouldn't have thought it would have been that cold.

Was feeling really rough on the drive back to 'the smoke'. Woke up the next day and had bloody shingles. My perception at the time was that only the elderly suffered from shingles and thought that my trip to Emley Moor had aged me by 35 years! :o

This is where we improve next as Platty is now battle hardened after his few games is showing and it may take a few more weeks to settle down once our injured lads are back jostling for places & their game fitness returns.

Forwards not scoring--fixed
Midfield lacking--almost fixed
Leaking Defense--on the to do list

Like said above cut out the mistakes at the back and we should win comfortably.

2-0 but should be more. James with them both

1993, bloody hell. 5 of us travelled by car. We all thought we would never get there in the snow, never mind get back. 27 years ago ! The things we do for our great club. But look where we are today. And Jamie and co travelled from
that London !! Bonkers.

Just had a look at Bradford few jokes we have not won a home league game in nearly 50 years.
One of the supporters has put a few pages of our programme from last time we played them in 1969.

In our notes Bobby Noble just signed from Newcastle and it mentioned Alfreton where it took s trip to their ground ,our ground, Chesterfield and I think PNE before we beat them in FA cup went to Alfreton.
