Re: Ifollow
My understanding is that all games can be streamed except for those that kick off at 3.00 pm on a Saturday.
If true does it mean that Friday night games can be broadcast?

If that’s your understanding then it certainly does!bluessupporter wrote: ↑Sun Jul 11, 2021 5:28 pm My understanding is that all games can be streamed except for those that kick off at 3.00 pm on a Saturday.

Re: Ifollow
I may be stating the obvious, but is this why some of our home games have been changed to Friday night? So opposition fans can stream on iFollow?
If this is indeed the case, then Barrow really ought to have stated a resounding no! I'm well up for Barrow under the lights, but not at the cost of traditional 3pm kick offs.

Re: Ifollow
No it’s simply down to reducing the costs of an overnight stay. Look at the matches that have been switched to Friday nights and the distance between the teams involved. I guess any income the clubs receive from iFollow would make up for any lower attendance switching to a Friday night bring aboutBlueNurse wrote: ↑Mon Jul 12, 2021 11:51 am I may be stating the obvious, but is this why some of our home games have been changed to Friday night? Re: Ifollow
Yeah, that's a fair enough point.
Do Barrow still stay at the Dunes when they're up here? Do they share that agreement with away teams when they're up here or do they have to faff about with finding their own accomodation? It's not just an expense, but also a bit of a logistical pain.

Re: Ifollow
Barrow do use the Dunes for a Friday night stopover before a Saturday home game. I guess Friday nights games negates that need so saves Barrow money too
I’m not sure where travelling teams stop. I’m aware of various locations being used. Holiday Inn Barrow, The Grand at Grange and Duke of Edinburg are three I’m aware of that travelling sides have used in recent years

Re: Ifollow
IFollow will be audio only for UK subscribers on Saturday
Subscribers from outside the UK will be able to watch the game
Midweek games are Available to view but unsure on the situation with it being a cup game

Re: Ifollow
Possibly the only good thing living in 3rd world Belize is I'll get to see all home and away games on iFollow, just have to remember to get up early to fire up the old lap-top
