Why should it be? Two full time and supposedly professional groups of players, the two sides should be of equal fitness.
Agree they should be in many ways superior to us but fitness wise there should be little to no difference.
The FA cup turns up some amazing shocks now and again, we just have to hope they think the job is done before a ball has been kicked and we play out of our skins.
Score 1-1 with 259 Bluebirds in attendance.

I keep telling you they are total shite in cup competitions. If we score twice I think we’d win. Unfortunately can’t see us scoring once.

No relevance; different squad and manager

Ipswich 2v0 Barrow

Times are tough for us Barrow supporters at the moment though there was enough on show at Sutton to make me feel that we are not too far away. Admittedly, have no idea where the goal scorer may come from, that is down to the manager and the club though genuinely believe when the player arrives, we will see the 'Matt Platt' effect over again. You will recall the difference he made to Evatt's team when he took to the field in a Barrow shirt. Looking forward to visiting Portman Road, a new ground for me.

As for your observation, 'AyrTo Barra', you are right and surprised nobody has commented on this previously. Damned irritating for many reasons.
I agree our performance at Sutton and even at FGR wasn't that bad. Up until their first goal at The New Lawn we looked organised and were passing the ball around well. At Sutton the same - apart from the two golden scoring opportunities we missed - Zanzala? Gordon? Both these fellas missed two sitters at Carlisle too. I just can't see us scoring a goal!

Watching our 'strikers' throw away so many opportunties is like watching Groundhog Day. Again, Again and Again.
But thanks for your optimism. Hopefully, some of it will rub off on me! :D

Hope it's not more - with it been televised
I can't see us scoring again until 2022. Seriously. And only if we've signed some new strikers.

The optimism and joy I had when we were promoted back into the EFL has now evaporated :(
I was planning to travel to Portman Road - I've seen most of our away fixtures - but after our recent performances I doubt whether I'll even attend the forthcoming Salford/ Swindon Town home games. I hope Carlisle/Oldham don't start to pick up points or I think the National League could be beckoning.
"4-0 to Ipswich

Is it being televised?. I genuinely didn't know this.
I was confused by this, so I Googled and found this...

https://www.thefa.com/news/2021/nov/11/ ... n-20211111
Burton Albion v Port Vale
Lincoln City v Hartlepool United
Doncaster Rovers v Mansfield Town
Carlisle United v Shrewsbury Town
Ipswich Town v Barrow
Portsmouth v Harrogate Town

The above matches have been selected by the BBC who would like to provide single or multi camera footage as clips or highlights.
The matches are not required to move to accommodate this coverage, therefore they will remain scheduled on Saturday 4 December, kick-off at 3pm.
The FA fee which is applicable for extended highlights, single or multi camera footage or Overseas Broadcast coverage of a match on a Saturday is £5000 per club.
However, I am still no less McFuddled. Does this mean that a single camera view will be available on iPlayer as the BBC sometimes do, or does it just mean that they will just cut to the action in Final Score whenever Ipswich score or when we miss a penalty?
