There’s little point speculating why Levi has left the role, or what he’s going on to next. I echo the thanks from others and wish him good luck for future ventures. A challenging 18 months, with COVID at the forefront, combined with the additional compliances required of a Football League club.

The more pressing matter is the lack of staff now at the club. We’ve seen roles & responsibilities merged, a heavy reliance on volunteers (including the SLO) and many issues which have been identified but nothing done about them.

I feel like we’re inevitably waiting for the straw to break the camel’s back.

We do need the roles though, unless Levi was doing nothing someone will be picking up his work. Pretty sure a ticketing manager and a commercial manager are needed to make any club more successful. Unfortunately 3000 fans doesn’t pay the bills and you need people to oversee more aspects of running a business. Without them we soon become a non league team again. To use your quote, glad you’re not running our club!

It's catch 22 just where commercially are we going to raise money apart from BAE we've no big companies etc to sponsor things,,( for decent finance the one's we have now are just OK) with our loyal ( but small) fan base we're never going to generate enough in merchandise sales etc,and our old ground is a money pit.
So we have to make decisions that are sensible for a club of our size, will that cause a few hiccups Yes but all of us have to realise what our priorities are.
Stabilise the club financially and build a successful team with our limited resources Paul Hornby is an accountant ( thankfully) so we have to trust and support him even if some decisions don't sit well!

Have you been living under a rock the past season or so? It won’t take you long scrolling through this forum, or on the multiple social media platforms, to realise that fans are getting frustrated with dealings away from the pitch.

We all want to support the club, but it’s made difficult when things like online club shop is literally empty, there’s no faith in tickets being delivered on time, the fanzone is under-utilised etc… to me, it feels like we just need a couple extra heads to alleviate the workload on those, who I have no doubt are doing their best.

Quite apt you mention NASA, as I think you’re from a completely different planet to us all.

The right staff generate their own wages.

Look at other clubs in the league do they rely on sponsorship from just local companies we are on the national stage now.

I could put a whole essay together as to where we go wrong but I'm banging my head against a brick wall, nothing changes.

I'm a realist, just how many tickets weren't delivered ?
The fanzone how will that compete with other places in the area ? when everywhere is struggling for staff etc
even if the online shop was full just how much would that bring financially to our club?
Keep giving out insults but please CAN you back up your statements?
If you know so much, no doubt you'll contact the club with your solutions because it's so easy to solve

I got a replica shirt just after Xmas from the shop and my wife bought me a hat for Xmas on line. No problems getting them.
Also as regards tickets. I’ve got all of mine quite promptly this season.
I went to the home Oldham game with an Oldham fan who went in the away end. They wouldn’t post tickets out and supplied no e-tickets so he had to travel to Oldham prior to game to pickup tickets.
I think some of these comparisons with other clubs are often based on all other clubs being better run and that just isn’t always the case.
I travel to various games and grounds with a Bristol Rovers and an Oldham fan and I would say Barrow have been above average with their service and supply of tickets
