I have no idea what was said but it was deemed serious enough for the board to release a statement like that.
I would like to think that in the case of online comments that the admins would be all over blocking the offenders and if this happens in the stadium; we as supporters should support the stewards and club and take our smart phones out of our pockets and film the little f*ckers at it so to help the club identify and ban them.

Back in the day I might have challenged the b*stards myself but I’m wiser these days.

It now seems supporters personal opinions and legitimate concerns whether constructive or subjective are no longer tolerated by the club and sanctions will be imposed on those whose opinions differs from the clubs. It is a dangerous precedent they are setting in my view, and reeks of do we nearly need the fans. Many that were there supporting through thick and thin and others that have had first hand knowledge of how the club functions.

McMark...if you go in any shop, bar, restaurant etc, there will be a notice that says abuse of employees will not be tolerated. Why should the club be any different? It was abusive, not merely argumentative or a difference of opinion. There is a very marked difference.

No it’s because of personal abuse directed at one individual. A line was crossed and nobody in any job should be subject to personal abuse. Me, you or anybody else knows how any individual might be affected by personal abuse. The club have acted in the best interests of the club and the individual concerned imo and for that they should be applauded

I'm with you Mark but how hypercritical of our club WHO insist on searching people ( without any justification) when entering the ground, WHAT a WELCOME!, I personally find THAT insulting as they're more or less accusing fans of being hooligans absolutely pathetic but that's down to inexperienced people making decisions about how they might impact on fans !
