Well, after 4 weeks and 51 games, the Euros come to an end.

England continue to wait for it to "come home", and despite playing much better in the semi-finals and final than they did in the early stages of the tournament, they came up against the best team in the competition. Spain deservedly won, even after a brilliant equaliser from Cole Palmer. For large periods of the game, England could not match the pressing game of Spain.

Only 2 of our entrants predicted Spain to win the tournament, and our winner was one of those making a last ditch effort!!

Congratulations to Alison Fawdrey who wins a signed Barrow AFC shirt and 4 hospitality tickets to a home game for the forthcoming season.

Dave Leitch takes second prize of £40 and third prize of £20 goes to Philip Benn. Prizes will be on the way this week.

Our final leader board looks like this.

(1) Alison Fawdrey 269
(2) Dave Leitch (B) 267
(3) Philip Benn (A) 255
(4) Dave Leitch (A) 252
(5)= Neil Fawdrey 236
(5)= Tony Walker (B) 236
(7)= Lindsay McKinnon 235
(7)= Allan Boyle (B) 235
(9) Les Smith 234
(10) Clive Roddie 231
(11)= Bob Steed (B) 229
(11)= Bob Steed (C) 229
(13) Andy McKinnon (A) 226
(14) Tom Fawdrey 225
(15) Chris Roddie (A) 224
(16) Andy McKinnon (B) 223
(17) Allan Boyle (A) 220
(18) Andrew Sharples 219
(19) Tony Walker (A) 217
(20)= Fiona Cottam 216
(20)= Helen McKinnon 216
(22) Sandra Starling 214
(23) Tony Walker (C) 210
(24) Jack Fawdrey 201
(25) Bob Steed (A) 197
(26) Chris Roddie (B) 183
(27) Frank Boddy 182
(28) Darren Riley 180

And a big thank you from me.

My congratulations to Alison and the runners-up in what was a very close contest.

And well done to Spain. Currently the best team in the world?
