Despite our decent August/September the majority of this season has been a massive hangover of the way last season finished, which wouldn't have been any different under Wild IMO. Important that we finish the season as strongly as possible as it builds momentum for the next one, both in footballing terms and with the feeling of supporters. Last summer I was pretty sick of football and wasn't excited whatsoever about the season starting again.
Popular side since '03.

We have players wanting a new contract with us or showing other clubs why they deserve a deal with them plus players wanting to show the manager they should be here next season. We've lost 1 out of the last 10 and even that was due to a shocking deflection. Tranmere are coming and will fight (lost Friday to the best away record team in the league) so don't be fooled by that result. Our next 3 remaining games will all be tough.

Our team has an obligation to the other relegation candidates to try and win this game and I'm sure Mr Whing will install this in the players. Should be a cracker of a game.
That said the fact that Stanway is starting every week is probably a reflection of us having one eye on next season so to a degree the other relegation candidates will just have to suck that up a bit.
You say that as though Stanway starting has meant a weakening of the team. I think he has been superb (in both spells he's played) and I don't believe we have suffered at all.
Don't let the old man in.

No I don't. I say it after it was clearly leaked beforehand on here and then happened. Any blooding of squad players can go well or not so well.

The only ' obligation' our team has is to us, the supporters, and themselves as professional footballers. We just need to win as many of our remaining games as we can. The teams that go down will go down due to their own inadequacies . Hell , we've given CUFC 6 points ! ( So don't blame us)

Tranmere can’t afford to sit back like Fleetwood. They must try to win. If we play like we are on the beach it will be very noticeable. And we will lose. It should be a decent game.

And I think the EFL might have something to say as well. Not sure but they could possibly impose a fine unless you could prove that the players that were dropped were injured.

Teams regularly make 3 or 4 changes. Can’t see how fielding any squad players could be interpreted as playing a weakened team.

Whing could choose to play Farman, Vassell, Barnes, Cameron, Kirk, Popov, Tiensia, all players who didn`t get minutes against Fleetwood and it wouldn`t be a weaken side like already said we don`t have a Reserve side, Campbell took another knock on his ankle and will be lucky to start v Tranmere, wherever Campbell ends up at that problem ankle needs sorting out.

He might put Foley into midfield in place of Campbell and bring Vassell in. Probably swap Aquah and one of either Whitfield or Mahoney for Pressley and Smith.
