Agree. In his first interview I seem to remember AM saying he wanted to get the age of the squad down.

Was mentioned on the social today that another deal was expected to happen yesterday but never. Anyone got any clue as to wether a deal is on or off for whoever it was?

We don’t say it was expected to happen

We were told it was possibly going to happen but it did not transpire yesterday in what was a busy day with the kit launch and the signing of Alex Reid.

Fair enough. Good to see a bit of early action anyway, id much rather see a settled side early in to pre season than last minute deadline day deals
