That is a bold statement Russell. Very bold. I don't think I have ever seen us line up in such a kit, but now that you have suggested it - I think it would look ace. Evertonesque in fact.
However, to go back to the poll and include your suggestion would mean a full reset of said poll so I am going to do a poll about the poll - I think this is the only way out of this in all fairness to you if I can find a way how.
Surely you remember watching us in
blue shirts, white shorts through much of the last century when the main topic of discussion in the pubs and clubs was what colour and design will the new season's socks be?
And don't give me that
I'm too young nonsense; you don't fool me.
Well I feel rather foolish - but now that I have seen your visual representations they have sparked the odd memory here and there. In mitigation I might add that I no longer indulge in satanic elixirs before, during and after football matches as I once shamefully did in days of yore.
The memory is still shot however.

Its White, blue, blue for me.
The issue for me is the endless line of blue colours, from Citeh to Dundee, from Sky Blue to French Navy.
Royal blue nothing else

Good - visually made - point there Nige it was a White / Blue / White strip before our time on the terraces. But as Jim opined the Chelsea kit was so memorable as it was from a time when we steam-rollered our way to the top of Division 3 - our highest ever attainment.
It was also a time of a re-branding as we dropped the nickname The Ziggers and became The Bluebirds also naming a new social club The Bluebird. Donald Campbell was also annoying the good people of Coniston with his very own Bluebird at this time and maybe that influenced things as his speed record attempts received world-wide coverage.
You and many others will know all this of course but maybe younger Forum members might not.

Just make sure whatever blue we choose to wear is blue & not that terrible sky blue colour. That is Barrow (not Chelsea) blue the one that seems to be our 2nd kit this season. Interestingly when I saw Barrow play at Gillingham in the 1970's in division 3 our changed colour was red (quite a darkish red) and white shorts. We won that day. Any other times we played in red as a second colour?

We won at Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup in a red kit in 2016/17, although I'm sure that was an alternate (third). 2015/16 we also had a red third kit and 2017/18 we had a burgundy third kit.

The away shirt is a nice blue but honestly Royal Blue was our colour back in the day and for some reason someone at our club changed it !

I liked the blue of the shorts last year and the change kit blue for the season ahead is also pleasant ( and has pleased three people I know that have bought it - will it sell as well, better or worse than the stripes?). The navy blue training tops we had 2/3 years ago were particularly smart, too.
A friend insists that the shade of Chelsea shirts has varied over the years and don't forget that we have had Cambridge blue on our shorts in the past, too (not that there is general agreement on that either).
I guess you pay your money if you like a shirt and don't if not.

I’m supposed to be decorating the bathroom but thought I’d have a break, have a kit chat. Many will remember the hideous yellow and red checks worn by us in a cup final against Goole at Maine Road Manchester in the last century. The jazziness of the shirts made the players nauseous and disorientated, so much so that they couldn’t string two passes together and lost the game.
Even ‘Mr Reliable’ - Jimmy Capstick played poorly and later said: ‘If we had played bare-chested we would have won.’ The shirts were later burned at an unknown location during the foot and mouth epidemic.

Eh ? They were blue and white for the final at Maine Road.

Bump! Last day of polling - it’s neck and neck.

I hope you're able to check the voting, WG. I've just added a second vote for white/blue/white and it was accepted! There could have been some nefarious goings-on in the all blue camp.

Poll concluded and the Blues have it!
If Paul Hornby reads all the club's social media there it is - Blue, Blue and White is the people's choice!
