Re: Andy Cook
PC came to a club dying on its arse after years of lack of investment & generally just limping along doing the bare minimum to survive (BK saved our club & every fan will always be thankful to him for that) but in the last few yrs we were going backwards.
PC had to relearn the ways things are done in the UK & learn on the fly how to run a football club, No easy task, Look at his investment & how much change & forward planning he has already brought in, We interact with the community as never before, the youth structures are organized as never before.
We now have more back room staff than we ever have had & it's getting better.
Mistakes have been made & more will be made BUT PC learns from them then changes things for the better, breath of fresh air IMHO

Too true. Probably lots going on behind the scenes we don't need to know. The fans still want to micro manage the club.mickmike wilson wrote:PC came to a club dying on its arse after years of lack of investment & generally just limping along doing the bare minimum to survive (BK saved our club & every fan will always be thankful to him for that) but in the last few yrs we were going backwards.

If only there was as much wisdom on the Board of Directors as there is on this forum.......mr_grey wrote:Too true. Probably lots going on behind the scenes we don't need to know. Re: Andy Cook
Sounds pretty logical to me. Some of us don't look at slating the club when every new post is raised.. just a question "Why do you give the club £14 per game and not go elsewhere on a saturday" if you think that most of what they do is not what you want them to do?The Real Slim a former member of this forum wrote:mickmike wilson wrote:PC came to a club dying on its arse after years of lack of investment & generally just limping along doing the bare minimum to survive (BK saved our club & every fan will always be thankful to him for that) but in the last few yrs we were going backwards.

I don't pay £14 to the club every saturday. They don't need our money now do they?

Yes, if you have nothing to contribute to this blog apart from juvenile wise cracks may I suggest you log off the PC.

Re: Andy Cook
Not taking sides but a forum is a place to debate things that are going on at "our" club as long as it doesn`t get personel people should be allowed to say how they see things! (i know this has nothing to do with andy cook)
Re: Andy Cook
I wonder why it's taking so long for Cooky to move?
Re: Andy Cook
The forum is for debate and opinion, but it is tedious wading through silly comments and snide one-liners that don't add anything to the debate.blue nige wrote:Not taking sides but a forum is a place to debate things that are going on at "our" club as long as it doesn`t get personel people should be allowed to say how they see things! Cos no other teams are in for him, and his agent is still desperately contacting every League 2 team?Pedro wrote:I wonder why it's taking so long for Cooky to move?

Because the season has only been finished a weekPedro wrote:I wonder why it's taking so long for Cooky to move?
Re: Andy Cook
Season just finished but he has supposedly been tracked all season.
I am beginning to think he may stay.

Grant Holt is a massive no for me. Tin hat time.
We have an obsession with ex players with the assumption that in their mid 30s they will be as good as they were at 25
