A shame that a great result and day really has been overshadowed and all the talk is on something that might've been said.

As for the game a deserved win in the end I think over a physical Sutton side who have surprised me this season. In the reverse game I thought they were nothing special and we should've won if we had a decent forward (story of the season) and Zanzala missed two sitters. Today they had an early chance through Bugiel off a goalkick when Brown missed his header but I don't remember Farman having many saves to make, some good catches and coming for crosses before a great penalty save. We defended well and even with 10 were never hanging on.
The wind was the winner in the first half but in the second I thought we started lively and played better football, Hutton seems reformed as a more advanced right winger, Gotts was tireless and Holloway had another good game occupying their big defenders and getting little protection from a weak referee, until he pulled up. What a difference goals and confidence have made to him. credit to Gordon his replacement too who played his part in the goal with Hutton to set up Rooney for a well worked goal.
Kay got his customary yellow card for a needless silly tackle a swipe in the first half and not sure what the second was for something he said? Both avoidable completely ridiculous and that spoils the ability that he does have...
Brown for all his efforts and praise recently almost cost us too with a ridiculous foul on Bugiel off the ball to concede a penalty, Bugiel is a handful and plays on the edge and he actually steps infront of Brown when you watch it back, before Brown drags him down. Farman to the rescue though great save from the penalty and he's another one who's had some unfair criticism I think. He doesn't do too much wrong and has saved us another week or so of waiting...

I thought we'd miss Beadling more today for a bit of height and physicality but we competed well against a big team, White maybe didn't have a great game but put himself about and the pressing and closing down in recent games has been a lot more apparent, increased fitness perhaps and we maintain it for the 90+ minutes now not just 45. Platt, Canavan and Brough solid at the back again too they haven't put a foot wrong recently.
Credit to the manager for making a few tweaks and getting more out of the players.
I think no one really expected 7 from the last 9 points and whilst I was still optimistic about survival 2 weeks ago I did think it would be a lot closer and to the wire.

I can repeat all what was was being shouted at him, might not be nice but wasn't racist

Also seeing our police officer assault someone like he did last week, then leave ground in the drunken state he did today, he's got no grounds to ban or
approve a ban for anyone else again.
Not saying he shouldn't get drunk and enjoy himself but don't harass other for doing the same. But if I or any other fans mixed both his actions in last 2 weeks together wede be banned,
Not calling you a liar but this is a serious allegation to make .
I trust you got your phone out and video has recorded his condition and actions ?there should be plenty of witnesses to back this up?Otherwise it is an unsubstantiated allegation that should not I think be on a public forum when it could effect someone’s career.

It's a forum, and I can say what I like.
The police actions can also affect careers.
Sooner they learn that the better

You have been very thorough in interviewing hundreds of people already to find out what they say about the incident.

As for your own view, perhaps the way you have addressed Jonty rather undermines your credibility in judging whether or not something abusive was said.
U think i really care about what u think of my credibility?😂😂😂

As for the game the conditions spoiled it as a spectacle but it was the result that mattered and we bagged the three points. I wasn't sure about the Phil Brown appointment but I like the way he has us playing and the interviews he gives. A tough decision for the board to make.
Anyhow the trips to Exeter and Swindon will be a lot more relaxing now thank [SwearFilter].
Not been enjoyable?
I’ve travelled hundreds of miles watching Barrow this season and loved every minute. If you don’t think watching Barrow play in league two is enjoyable then you need to find a different way of spending your Saturdays

Well it had to end up going to music didn’t it😅

We thought love was only true in fairy tales
Meant for someone else but not for us
Relegation was out to get us
That's the way it seemed
Disappointment haunted all of our dreams
Then we saw Phil Brown’s face, now we’re all believers
Not a trace of doubt in our minds
We’re in love
We’re all believers, we couldn't ditch Phil Brown if we tried
We thought loving Barrow AFC was more or less a giving thing
Seems the more we gave the less we got
What's the use in tryin'
All you get is pain?
When we needed sunshine, we got rain
Then we saw his face, now We’re all believers
Not a trace of doubt in our minds
We’re in love
we’re all believers, We couldn't ditch him if we tried
Oh, relegation was out to get us
Now, that's the way it seemed
Disappointment haunted all of our dreams
Then we saw his tanned face, now we’re all believers
Not a trace of doubt in our minds
we’re in love
Were all believers, We couldn't ditch him if we tried
Yes, we saw Phil Brown’s face, now we’re all believers
Not a trace of doubt in our minds
Said, We’re all believers, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (We’re all believers)
Said, We’re all believers, yeah (We’re all believers)
I said, We’re all believers, yeah (We’re all believers)

My first thoughts today were total relief at continuing the football league dream. Second thoughts were to wish Richie Bennett all the best in the play offs and that’s what I did whilst he was doing his warm down. A player who never ever let Barrow AFC down during his time with us👏
Last of all my thoughts on the man in the middle, well erm I think he got all the attention he craved during the game so that be that!

Of course watching Barrow in L2 is enjoyable. What hasn't been enjoyable has been abject performance after abject performance. I don't miss many games home or away and have clocked up so many miles it's unbelievable.
Anyway, we have another season in the EFL and we are finally producing worthwhile performances.
See you at Exeter and Swindon :D
