Spend a fair amount of time scanning other clubs sites to keep an eye on what’s going on. I can honestly say that to date we are one of the more active clubs in L2 when it comes to recruitment both on and off the field.
There is clearly no shortage of endeavour or effort at the club presently. With that effort comes investment. Compare this with Colchester for example who have not invested significantly in their squad and have been open about the fact that they spent to survive last season and won’t be doing so this season.
Whilst PW is used to working on tight budgets I think he is being given sufficient financial support to accommodate his needs. I’m sure that wouldn’t have been the case with Cooper but that’s why Wild is here now.

Thinking in terms of releasing players as well zanzala, banks,James, both Jones that must saved a few quid.
And been replaced by Bennett, Waters, Sol, Ray, Warren, Foley…….these don’t come for free
I am sure Zanzala, Banks,Platt would have been on a good wage plus we let 6 others go making a total of 6 inn and 9 out ignoring loanees we had

Tom Beadling, Mike Jones, Kgosi Ntlhe, Dimitri Sea, George Williams, James Jones, Zanzala, Ollie Banks, Matty Platt, Luke James.
Unless I've missed any that's 10 out goings so far and like Pedro said - only 6 in.

Plus loanees like Wakeling, Glennon and others whose names I've already forgotten.

Out of all of those, only about 4 were in the first team picture though, the rest were surplus to requirements. Nowt wrong with trimming the fat and having a smaller squad.

Nice! We're now waiting for the departure of Josh Gordon. Won't be long, hopefully?
Gordon worked hard from what I saw today a busy busting player thought he did ok like to keep him thank you.
Yes; he always works hard - running about like a headless chicken
I wonder when he's going to start scoring a few goals?

The first line of defence comes from the attackers and he was the best of the lot at closing down full backs and blocking the start of attacks forcing throw-ins deep in the oppos half. We all know a higher percentage of goals are scored when the ball is turned over in the defending thirds. He gives up chances to seize on those opportunities.
So he gives up chances to score goals

so he can seize other
opportunities?
Okay

Just caught this post match review with Pete Wild after the Ashton game, ....yes it is only a second friendly but the language he is using and you can already get an insight into his management style and his assessment of the game. I am more impressed every time i hear him and I really do think we can kick on with this man at the wheel.

Okay
Typo* Gives us chances to win the ball back in defending third this increases our chance of scoring, rather than us defending in our own box increasing the chance of conceding. Come on, it’s not difficult to understand.

Watching the Pete Wild podcast he's looking essentially for a squad of 22 so cover for every position. Hopefully quality rather than quantity
