Back from the gulag. If it is Murray then I hope he’s not conned by some of the absolute shite bags pretending to be footballers that are still unfortunately contracted to us next year. On paper they’ll be the best set of players he’s managed, hopefully the rotten apples have been identified and steps to get them out of my club are under way. I like this kind of appointment. Young, hungry, probably has established contacts in the game and played to a decent standard himself. A few promising comments regarding their play style too, team full of big lads that can mix it when they need to and play a decent brand of football. Also a great achievement to get that kiddy side promoted from a league where teams are throwing a few quid around

Anyone got any idea of when there’s going to be an announcement and who it could be?

whoever is named as our next Manager the board must give him a chance, because the decision to appoint Gallagher and his dreadful signings was the reason we went down, we have thrown away our league status with probably the worse set of players since our return, and too think the majority will still be here next season in the National League, a big drop in interest and crowds will hit the Club hard but it should never have happened. Can see the present owners giving it 2 more seasons while parachute payments are in place to get back in the league.

Harriers said a club in the English Football League had triggered a release clause in the 44-year-old's contract and the former AFC Fylde boss was keen to move.

It seems that Murray is our man. The journalist Pete O’Rourke who is normally very reliable called it a few days ago.

Pleased with that, even some Carlisle fans wanted him rather than Hughes (according to the social)
