I haven't followed all of this in great detail but it keeps on coming up to the top of the thread list so there must be something happening. I have a question then...does (or will) everybody's Trust membership be used to accommodate or subsidise fans travel?

from what I understand being members of the trust gives you a discount on travel but trust travel as a stand alone breaks even or makes a small amount - so its when people join the trust they aren't subsidising peoples travel its just an added benefit

but i could be wrong

Another important question---well it is to me.
Will I still have my special seat (I was going to write throne but that might raise the toilet issue again) at the front of the coach under the new regime?

Can people who want to attend please be aware this is a Trust meeting and certain things will be confidential so you won't be able to sit in on all the meeting but we will try and get through it quickly to devote more time to travel.Thank you

This is all starting to be a complete mess if you don't mind me saying.

You pay trust membership. If you travel on buses to away games you get a discount if you are a trust member - correct?

Are you now saying that won't be the case and you have to pay another membership to get discount on travel?

Yes I'm being thick and yes I should read all these many pages but to be honest I can't be bothered.
everyone is entitled to their opinion, deal with it

My last say on the matter .
People are/were willing to give free money to the trust to be used for travel purposes.
From what I gather its been asked about before but wasn't wanted. So it won't happen this time.
Was going to come up Saturday but not sitting outside a meeting until allowed in.

Let me know when first bus of season is I will be there.

In all of the time the ISC existed (6 seasons) I think I'm right in saying a loss was never made over a season, and over the 6 seasons we were actually significantly in profit. So if we were to follow the same method (and it has been said that we will) then the above scenario won't become an issue. As has been said the aim will be for trust travel to break even over a season, which was always the case with the ISC too.

Think its about time this thread was put to bed now as its going round in circles and becoming a bit messy.

1) Nobody has suggested anyone waits outside anything- give over Al!

2) Because clearly questions exist from the first meeting, this is a chance to resolve it, mostly the same people who thought the AGM was too late for the issues to be resolved!

Just to clarify this is referring to non trust members. Anyone who is a member is of course welcome to join in the entire meeting (and join the steering group if you wish :))

Do you require the attendees to arrive early to obtain security clearance. :?

That's not quite true.
I was there for 4 seasons of the ISC and most of the money was made in the 1st season while a small loss was made in the 4th season.
If it hadn't been for the Membership & Raffle money a profit would only have been made in the first of those 4 seasons with another breaking even and 2 losing money (and that was with cheaper buses that we no longer have for a full season).

Plans are afoot to hold some events specifically to go towards travel.
