IMO Murray is right, the club stinks of failure, but and its a big but, hes partly to blame. As a club and a manager they/he should have made it abundantly clear that we didnt want to keep any of those players from last year. At a push id have tried to keep MJ. The rest should have gone or been told they arent wanted!! clean slate across the board.
Most of yesterdays starting 11 were HIS signings and we were served SH!T.
Everyones fault but his own.

Yeah but 4 of the starting 11 wernt his signings. Jackson, Smith, Cameron should all be gone, none of them are good enough, jury still out on Winterbottom.
Whitfield, kouyate, Harper should all have been told they arent wanted. But like i said the club and Murray are partly to blame for that

If the top corner of that Holker Street goal could speak it would probably say "nice, strike, son . . . but you would need to have been a good few yards further back to match Mickey Carroll's effort".
Conrad Phillips would have been impressed with the arrow-like accuracy though. Sweet as an apple.
Talking of goal-threat and willingness to shoot, we were woeful. We did have a few chances to get shots away but chose to either pass or take an extra (clumsy) touch and lose the opportunity.
Out on the road today I saw (no . . . not a Dead-Head sticker on a cadillac) a seagull chick hacking away pathetically at a very empty plastic drinks bottle. I thought "there's the definition of desperation". And then for reasons not known my mind switched instantly to our attempts at attacking yesterday.
Don't look back, you can never look back . . . I'm sure we don't want to, but yesterday was like freeze-frame from last season . . . defensive frailty and attacking impotence. And so, sticking with the musical theme, it's as Paul Simon said . . . "after changes upon changes we are more or less the same".

Only 2 games gone but already obvious this isn't a good enough squad to get promoted, too many poor players from last Season still here and to be honest the new signings are worse, Murray talks a good game but unless they are big improvements he won't last long in the job.

I think Murray should talk to Barkhuizen .
He must have some ability .
While he may want to teach him a lesson if he can get him to play could be worth a shot.

As has been suggested above, we don't know the ins and outs, but perhaps Barkhuizen might be right and the others wrong!

It doesn’t really matter if Barky is right the manager has informed him he is not part of the plans this season and I don’t think he’s one for going back on that decision but only time will tell ultimately.
Needs time to establish his philosophy on the team he didn’t hide that fact before a ball was kicked. So let him get on with it and see what eventually we end up producing. It’s not brilliant so far but let’s show some all important patience.

Listening to Murray’s interview it was anyone but his fault yesterday.
First home game of the season and you start what basically are two more defensively minded midfielders and a 5 back with two left backs one of whom we seem to be convinced is a left winger in possession. With the game plan to lump balls up to an isolated striker.
Bizzare

If that's the case there's a lot in the "wrong" camp....
Excluding him to silence him, it's Barrow not North Korea.

And most of the current players have been slagged off for the last two games and now the manager is being criticised.
Personally I think it's too early but it makes you think doesn't it?

That all sounds great, but, as has been said before, you can't simply get rid of people who are on contracts if they don't want to go. I'm not sure how that can be blamed on Murray!

The players left over from last season aren't his fault.
The new signings ( and team selection/ tactics) are down to him.

That's two games where we've cleared a ball into a dangerous area and been punished. Something to improve on.
Roll on Harrogate, ….a good result there is the confidence boost we all need,….yes it’s Harrogate.

Adam Murray has brought the criticism through his own rhetoric promising lots of pressing attacking play making it a fortress etc ,considering with all the changes I bet he'd wished he'd toned it down a bit.
Don't see much changing until we have a couple of new players but if that doesn't happen we're in trouble!, some of these new players look lightweight and are easily pushed off the ball going to be a grim few weeks!

Its all great saying we are stronger and more solid as a team (which going by the last few games is debatable)
Surely any manager at this level can see it is the same problem week in week out .
Who is the clever player in midfield to create that killer pass?
Who is going to score goals?
Who is the winger that beats a man and gets the crowd off their bums?
Go out attack , take the game to the opposition ffs
