Exile also needs help with the bins as it is a strenuous and tiring job for one person lifting and carrying the bins back and forth to the skip bins.

Exile will be picking the keys up from my house Tommy so he'll see you there bud.

I might make it down, see how things lie in the morning but breakfast in bed should be more than enough to keep her happy :)

Stevie Ahern & Exile were down there this morning having a bit of a turf war with Biggest fans as to who could grab the most litter

I popped in for a minute on the way past & they'd done a cracking job, the ground is spotless - although they did find us more jobs to do, which mainly included fastening more bins to walls :ugeek:

Would be nice if we can get a decent turnout sorted for next Sunday as that's hopefully when we can start getting things better organised for getting jobs started/ongoing/completed.
PM's/texts/e-mails/phone calls or replies on here will help us to do that.

Thanks capman, really nice gesture on top of all the donations you have already given us.

We've just been using up a couple of small bags of sand that were in the GMA so a very useful offer, FBM :? your gonna have to help me out on that mate, no idea what it is.
You can drop it off or tell us where to get it anytime & we'll just store it to use as & when if thats ok.

Lads,

My tumble dryer stopped turning last week, think it just needs a new belt.

Being a few years old we've got a new one in the sales. Would you lads be interested in taking it, putting a new drive belt on and giving it to Les is he needs it for the washing?

If not has it any scrap value?

We'll take it for scrap Pete, do you want us to pop around to pick it up sometime? Our scrap man let us down today which means theres still a load for him to pick up so it'll get thrown in with the rest.

Only three of us there today due to - one illness, one travelling, one work comittments one hangover & one away for the weekend.

Me & Pete Nichols tidied the workshop again & Pete took a couple of barrow loads of crap to the skip. John Mackay replaced all the numbers on the changing room modules with some far more professional looking ones that we "acquired" Just about the finishing touch in there until we can do something with the shower area.

rattle (off here) came down & measured up the players tunnel as he thinks he has someone lined up to supply us with the perspex required to do the job, this will allow supporters to stand closer to the tunnel during matchdays. We need to speak to Mike Forsyth first about whether this is acceptable & meets whatever the requirements are before we go ahead with it.
Nice offer both off rattle & the supplier regardless of the outcome. I'll mention the supplier if they're happy with that further down the line.

We had a director from the rugby visit us this morning to see how we've set everything up, how we started & how we've managed to get where we are with things in general as they are looking at doing something similar (but not on this grand scale he said :) )
He was pretty impressed with everything including the HSE & how we funded it & couldn't believe how well the changing rooms looked. I think he was more impressed though with how many people we have turning up on a regular basis to do these jobs.

I'll be at ground Sunday from 10am really could do with a hand
As laying block 9inch and on own on ladders is a hard ask
So if anyone can give an hour or two would be a massive help

Be good if someone could pop down & help Tommy out in the morning as I can't make it & a couple of the other lads are unavailable as well. No particular skills needed, just someone to be there to pass the blocks to Tommy.

We need this one sorting asap as it's an unplanned job which was caused by the high winds of a couple of weeks ago & is starting to hold up other jobs around the ground.

If you can make it just meet Tommy down there at about 9:00 in the morning, he'll brighten your morning up because he won't shut up about todays result :)
