We couldn’t have signed any of your in contract players anyway as we are under embargo. Sounds like two clubs have been very professional and your board seem very complimentary about how we handled discussions. Sounds like both clubs on good terms. Which is good. Everyone can move on. You’ve got cash to splash, be ambitious. Good luck.
Nice Post

thanks

I assume he said goodbye to our players? Was expecting a short statement from to us the fans once appt made.Read his spiel on Bolton but only said “ the timing wasnt ideal as we had just been promoted”I know a lot of people are fed up/angry/disappointed or philosophical about his departure.Just thought we deserved the courtesy of a goodbye following our support etc.Another let down

He briefly mentioned us (fans) in his first Bolton interview, he did speak highly of the club and said that it was a great job he had here.

At least he's nearer home and won't need to spend as much time in the Bookies

Does nobody else smell a rat with this Evatt deal? Remember, him and his agent are HUGE gamblers - Whiston tried this with the Fylde move but failed.. .
IE couldn't speak highly enough of the club two months ago, bolton show interest and he's 12/1 to leave, he then becomes desperate to leave for a financially unstable club that is subject to a transfer embargo.

The idea that Evatt and his agent got him a move to Bolton to win £120 is ridiculous even by this forums standards
