Here are what seem the final results before 3pm announcement. Quite a bit of early 'love' for MM but since Torquay game it seems to have all but dried up!

At least you, me and Nigel Bamford have good memories, Ian.spirit of 1990 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2017 4:35 pmI can remember something along them lines TTK. Was it just before a major tournament and the England squad were pretty short up front because of injuries, and he was (if I remember correctly) one striker away from being in the squad that was taken? The year when Rooney got injured seems to ring a bell. The Tomahawk Kid wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2017 3:40 pm

Haha, it might just be case of our memories going, they always say you're the last to know, and when you do realise - you've forgotton what it was you realised. The Tomahawk Kid wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2017 1:38 pmAt least you, me and Nigel Bamford have good memories, Ian.spirit of 1990 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2017 4:35 pm

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
