January ins and outs
Re: January ins and outs
Let's be cheeky I went to see Brighton v Leicester
Glen Murray cannot get in the team and think he will be on the move ,let's ask for a loan.
See that athlete Grant Holt is back playing in the Turkey Twizzlers league

Carlisle are skint as [SwearFilter] and stuck in the bottom half of L2, they have been on the decline and desperate and have been for years, they're desperate for their glory days (I don't blame em) but their fans cant accept that they (may) be a non league club soon.... let em judge and foster, but we go again Tuesday

Agreed. Let's forget about trotters independent football club up North and enjoy the good things happening on and off the field in South Cumbria/North Lancashire (depending on your age)CH BAFC wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2020 1:53 am Carlisle are skint as [SwearFilter] and stuck in the bottom half of L2, they have been on the decline and desperate and have been for years, they're desperate for their glory days (I don't blame em) but their fans cant accept that they (may) be a non league club soon.... let em judge and foster, but we go again Tuesday![]()

Re: January ins and outs
Only one going down from L2 because of Bury's demise, don't forget.
If a club stays solvent to the end of the season it should stay in League Two, given the precarious financial position of one or two other clubs.

So is only one club going up from the National League to League 2?
We will follow the soccer, over land and sea...

No. League 2 is minus a team because of Bury going under. Next year will be back to full compliment with 2 going upWintergreen wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2020 8:44 amSo is only one club going up from the National League to League 2?

Only 3 down out of league 1
4 up from league 2
1 down from league 2
2 up from national league

Could be no one going down yet mind. Depending on Macclesfield. Didn't they just get an extension of the deadline?

Re: January ins and outs
If Carlisle did offer £10,000 collectively, that would equate to the same figure we sold Alex Ray-Harvey for a few years ago to Guiseley, I believe.
Re: January ins and outs
Some would suggest Rooney is at least as good as ARH...
(I did like ARH incidentally)

Rooney a much better player than ARH. Better in every department.
Re: January ins and outs
Need a striker in if we’re serious about going up

Re: January ins and outs
That's not being cheeky, it's being ridiculous. You don't get Premier League strikers going on loan to National League clubs even aging ones like Glenn Murray. That's even a lot less likely than us accepting £5,000 for John Rooney!
