Listened to the Radio Cumbria interview tonight and thought it dwelt unnecessarily on the darker side of him leaving, no need for it in my opinion. He got us promotion and for that eternal thanks and good luck in his future. His achievement put him in the shop window and quite frankly he deserves the chance to manage a bigger club. Likewise Barrow now have the chance to build on the opportunity he gave us and hopefully we will and challenge at the upper end of the league.
I really wonder if the brain dead minority who criticise him for leaving would refuse a similar opportunity in their lives if it came along.

Thanks for that, was an interesting listen, said he was late for the interview as he’d just been on the phone to the Barrow chairman. When he said a couple of times about taking the emotion out of it? We still have 6 points up for grabs against Bolton next year, just think the emotion will still be raw when he comes to Holker Street. Seemed to Blaim the minority of trolls on twitter for coming off it? Can’t understand why so called Barrow fans would send threatening/abusive tweets at that time when we he was appearing in national tv voicing our cause for promotion. Internet can be completely anonymous for all we know it was that wukkie fan who used to come on Barrow’s FB page for a wind up

I doubt very much any Barrow fans gave him any kind of abuse when he was manager of the club. I can understand emotions running high now given that it appears he could not wait to get away from Barrow. Plus the other unsavoury things (which had he remained would have probably have seen the club launch some kind of investigation to see if he had brought the club into disrepute)

I'm sure he will be successful he did a good job for Barrow and I think if he had gone to a club in a higher league I would have been routing for him but there is just so much that leaves a bad taste in my mouth

What he did for us is 10/10 the way he left tarnished it.
If he is being trolled I cannot see a Barrow fan doing it
If he upset someone with something outside football he may be getting stick over that hence his message their are consequences.
We had the same innuendoes over Edmondson and a certain person in Barrow.
If you look at the Blackpool Supporters site there is one person accusing David Dunn of something which is liablious.
He has gone ,he achieved success and gave us promotion.
He is ambitious and rightly so just the way he left but I suppose their is little loyalty in Football as he pointed out the way Oyston treat him ,condemned him and he does the same,though the board seem to have agreed he could move to a big club.
Let's move on ,remember his success but hopefully beat his team when we meet.

In the end I want to thank Ian Evatt for getting us to this place. Who would of thought we would be a EFL club two years ago after losing at home to Chester only for Woking to do the same and stop us from falling into the Conference North. (Alfreton, Leamington away.......)

I cant see there being any problems. I think Radio Cumbria are fairly well balanced and fair.
