It's a tough time for all the lads that get released from academies. Hundreds trialling and hoping to get signed.

Joe's got a very strong work ethic and I've no doubt he'll play at Barrow's level or higher in the future. It's a shame last season panned out how it did tbh.

Matt Flynn on trial for Southport as well as (I kid you not) Wayne Curtis.!

Matt Flynn has signed for Southport. I didn't rate him, came highly recommended gave his all but failed to deliver. Good luck to him and I hope his second chance at Conference National works out.
