Forgive me for not rolling on the floor laughing.
Oh dear!
I guess those who put their names on the list never specified whether they wanted a ticket for the ground or Stand as well?
I was surprised when season ticket holders got 2 tickets tbh as a JCL who's a friend of a season ticket holder gives you higher priority than anyone else!
The priority list for S/T holder allocation needs changing to 1 ticket me thinks and the NSC needs adding with the Trust.
Also have some got a ticket without having to show their Trust Membership or season ticket as mentioned earlier in the thread?
Season ticket holders were apparently told they would only get one ticket when they rang up to join the list, but this had changed to two by this week.
I'm not arsed about stand tickets, not the point I was making - just saying it was always a possibility, and season ticket holders should trump the list when it comes to seated tickets. So anyone low down on the list who wants a seat, well that's just something they have to deal with, like anything.
Bit of a bugger though if "your" seat is taken up by the mate of a season ticket holder.

If you have a Stand Season Ticket you get dibs on the seats. If you have a Ground Season Ticket then you get early ground tickets. If a GST holder wants a seat then they take their chances when it goes to general sale. That's how it should have been done. No SST holder should miss out on a seat.

I don't think anyone from Ulverston should get priority based on their utterly misplaced sense of superiority.
They can console themselves with a Ralf Spours Juice Shake.
Likewise tutting grandparents

I hope after all this that lesson`s are learnt and we have a more thoughtful and structured approach to the future distribution of tickets, NO MORE , LISTS!
they cause too much confusion and need to be micro managed to make sure everyone is treated fairly,
I`m just glad we were not playing a top team or god knows what would have happened!

Hang on old bean... agree about priority from location but that's where I travelled from as a kid week in week out through the 80's on the old BR trains, ulverston has a reasonable army of fans who have travelled through for many many years to watch our beloved.. Many have since passed (god bless) but many are still young and keen.. I'm a Barrow boy, raised in Ulverston as were many.. quite disappointed by this comment from you steve.. your still a ledgend even if you do come out with discriminating sentences..
