We need to have a restructure top to bottom really get an experienced manger in and new squad virtually and we should aim for play offs at least we should win more than we lose and might enjoy the football again as this season hasn't been enjoyable to watch at all we need to tighten our belts and base budgets on attandances of 1500 to1600 average so we dont go into more debt that's not sustainable as crowds will drop further but we could get back to 2k if at top end of table I feel

It really has been grim this season i hope we ship most out apart from mcann williams winterbottom Rose they might want to leave though id give inns cameron a go in national league possibly

Enormous rethink needed at Holker Street this summer.
Because, bar a handful of exceptions, I think everyone connected with the footballing side at Barrow this season should be - and I hesitate to use this word because I appreciate it’s not pleasant - a little bit embarrassed.
I’ve watched them live enough times to know they haven’t built a team that represents Barrovians: in fact, these are the opposite.
Weak. Passive. They regularly lose not just 50/50s but 90/10s because they’re slow to react. They don’t look fit enough, yet more so mentally fragile.
Body language horrendous. Light jogging in high-stakes moments.
Fans who dig deep for season tickets - and deeper still to travel the country watching them in an economically challenged area - don’t deserve to watch their team roll out the red carpet for the opposition when they’re in the final third over and over again.
Stephen Clemence, Andy Whing, Neil McDonald, Dino Maamria and now Sam Foley have all struggled over the last two years, largely as a result of poor recruitment, on a lower midtable budget.
Time to look further up. For starters, I don’t think Iain Wood - though by no means the only culprit - being entrusted with a rebuild in the National League as Sporting Director can be tenable.

General consensus across the board is we've been failed by the powers that be as fans by actions out of our control, we as fans deserve better and how the season has been handled is nothing short of embarrassing

Its now time for the board to pull their trousers up, give themselves a wobble and seriously put their money where their mouth is, own up make the decisions that need to be done around them and move on cause we can't wallow in pity and have a relegation hangover like Morecambe etc..... time for a rebuild and give the bin league a go.

The presumption in this post is that owners are a given, and must provide financial clout to the club out of some sort of bottomless pit.
As supporters we are not entitled to this.
The owners are wealthy (by comparison) custodians/volunteers who are not around to make money from the enterprise.
We should be thankful they exist. Just think for a moment - what happens if they bale out?
In some ways, if you think it through, it’s arguable that they are beyond criticism.

Several are under contract until 2027.There won't be queue to buy many ( if any) so unless we pay them off ( unlikely) we're stuck with the spineless lot.

If someone offers them a better weekly wage, we will let them go for an 'undisclosed fee' ie nothing. As much as we wont like it, id imagine 6 or 7 of this squad might stay in L2, thats just my opinion

We are the worst team in the worst EFL 2 League I've ever seen. This is a team with no spirit, no fight, no pace and no ability. It's hard to find a player who knows what a sprint is or gets nearer than 5 yards away from the player he's supposed to be marking. The recruitment has been abysmal with the players brought in nothing better than scrap or has-beens who were unwanted by any other club.

How would you play next season? Go all put and spend a fortune whilst there's parachute payments or be level headed and aim for a steady season an regroup to challenge the year after? So many teams bounce right back but so many go down again. Its hard to change the mindset of a core squad thats quite frankly spineless

Despite what it might cost in paying up contracts you have to get a new squad chosen by the new manager himself, as it will take somebody extremely good - and expensive - to get a tune out of this lot. You can't polish a turd.
