Just listened to Murray's interview, it's excuse after excuse he's on about leaders, being ruthless well on tackling we're up there with the best at fouling etc but let's get to the cruxt of the matter, these players were signed by Murray he bigged them up yet when push comes to shuv some Just Aren't up to it
I can't see him changing but more money is going to be wasted signing player's until ( if) he gets it right, people say don't sack him but where's the cut off point?
Will the attendances effect the decision?
I've got a season ticket but I wouldn't pay to watch this garbage you'd probably get a better game at Holker and I don't mean to be disrespectful!

The atmosphere on Saturday will be tense but who knows how we'll play?

I’m not sure where we go now, Murray got lucky when his kiddy team turned it on for the last ten games of the season and got them over the line (albeit in the league below) very bleak times watching us the past few years, the decline has been horrendous and there’s virtually nothing to show for our stint in the football league.

It don’t matter who comes in this seasons looking more and more likely it’s about survival. The bigger worry is that the first season of parachute money looks like bring wasted and with no signs of new investment the budget next season will be less than the current one

We've shipped out almost every player from last season so there are no excuses now.
Brought in Ward and Mooney so why not try them together?
I'm all for giving the manager 10 games esp with a new team so he has 2 left and personally if theres not 4 points from those games then I could see him gone! 6 points out of 24 and only 1 clean sheet is relegation form esp losing to bottom of the league and chucking away a 2 goal lead last Saturday.
The team changes way too much so there can't be any consistency apart from consistency losing!

Just like Blue Nige, I have a season ticket (for the first time since 1967) and, just like Blue Nige, I wouldn't pay to watch this lot if I didn't have the season ticket.

Hands up from me . . . I was well enough pleased after the win over Sutton and that clearly held till half-time at Worthing . . . but how fast doth the stone plummet?

It's chronic beyond belief, and has been chronic beyond belief for about 20 years now. To what do I refer? I refer to what others have said, and that is our remarkable capacity to step up and be the team to lose against struggling teams and kick-start their seasons. Maybe we are just empathetic and have a lot of heart for those teams that are struggling? Or maybe we lack heart and the "e" and the "m" need dropping???

To look back at the highlights of the match at Holker Street on October 13th 1973 when 457 of us watched us lose 1-4 against Northwich Vics, and then watch last night's game where we lost so narrowly away from home, and subsequently compare the two and end up feeling wild grounds for optimism.

What a dreadful waste of a ball that was.

Those born into this world to become footballs know it's a brutally demanding life. After all, their whole raison d'etre is to be kicked repeatedly around a pitch for 90 minutes every Saturday, and, as a bonus, the odd weekday night. Not a career for the faint-hearted. Who would want to be a football? But surprising as it may seem, some footballs have enjoyed being kicked about. For example, I believe the ball used in the 1970 World Cup Final said at the end of that match that it had been a pleasure to be kicked senseless for 90 minutes by the likes of Pele, Tostao and Rivelino. Sadly, it's not the same quality of life for all footballs who take up this particular lifestyle. Footballs are usually intelligent and they understand the difference between getting a good kicking and getting a bad kicking. Feeling thoroughly deflated, last night's match-ball decided to render itself just exactly that after the game. In the darkness underneath the stand it decided to end it all last night, all alone and miserable, a tragedy that none of the Solihull or Barrow fans leaving the ground knew was happening. RIP match-ball.

Last night was an away-trip for the ages, rounded off with thoughtful motorway closures on the M40 (at Banbury) and the M25 (junction 15). By way of therapy, I took a mate’s dog for a walk along the river this morning. At ‘Anglers Reach’ I asked Milly (the dog) what she thought of Barrow’s game at Solihull last night. And within 20 seconds I needed one of the plastic bags I was carrying. Milly knows…..

I agree last night was dreadful and our recruitment has brought in a lot of the players having no experience at this level but this constant calling for the Manager to lose his job needs to stop. If it was that simple why did the regular changing of Manager last season not have some effect?
Murray needs to be given more time to get this sorted, at least for the time being.

The game was played at Northwich not Holker Street after the league deemed our pitch not fit because of the Speedway, the first time Barrow have played a home game away from home.

The calls for at least one of those managers to be brought in (Dino Maamria - played six, won one and not in a managerial role immediately before or since) are baffling to me. And why anyone thinks we're an attractive proposition to a proven manager after the merry go round early in the year I don't understand.
