This was about a winding up order - the decision on their disciplinary is still pending

i guess the EFL were hoping they'd be saved from making a decision...

I think you are correct. Not sure whether that was for storage or because of failure.
If the latter, I would be happy to put something towards the GMV kitty towards replacing it (perhaps with a slightly taller model).
A new flagpole has been acquired, we’ll hopefully have it in position in the next couple of months.
Cheers Ian.
It needs to go elsewhere away from away fans as Cubbins said.
Assuming all goes well with the voting and the leahue send the champions flag, is there anywhere else it coud go temporary. It needs to ne seen as people pass the ground. You could lower a floodlight and tie it to that.

What about by the new food outlet in the corner of the West terrace?
Would be seen from reception as well...
Away Coaches pulling up outside too

From Ollie Bayliss:
"National League clubs have until 5pm to vote on a resolution to decide the season by PPG.
I think it's likely the proposal WILL pass.
If it does, 102 voting members of the FA Council will then be asked to ratify the decision.
That would then confirm these outcomes:

We are going up... as league champions.
Question is, how’s everyone celebrating after the news on Thursday?
Ollie Bayliss now saying it won’t be Thursday; will take a few days for FA council to ratify however the vote has gone.......

The news from the NL will be either late today or Thursday - the FA always had to rubber stamp it though - and as long as there are play off's in all 3 divisions it will just get rubber stamped by the FA.

Apparently it has to be ratified by the fa council, then ok’d by the Efl,then given the green light by the premier league, then passed by the government, then rubber stamped by Boris, then open for objection to anyone not happy about the result. Just [SwearFilter] sort it.

Then BarrowAFC.net needs to give final approval. Admin will need to start a poll.

You forgot that once it's rubberstamped by the PM, it is then passed to David Haythornthwaite for final authorisation.

Desmond let me if I may correct you on the agreed protocols for decisions such as these.
Upon declaration of a positive vote, the NL board will immediately convene to give thanks to St George (Best), patron saint of wayward footballers before despatching a pigeon of Her Majesty's Royal Avian flight to Buckingham Palace. Her Majesty, amid an assembly of sporting dignatries including Sir Gary Lineker, Sir Frank Warren, Sir Ian Botham, Sir Jessica Ennis-Hill and Sir Lewis De Hamilton, will then light the first of several hundred royal beacons in Windsor Great Park.
Simultaneously a royal warrant will then be despatched to the FA, and on receipt, the FA serjeant-at-arms is required to offer the traditional challenge to the FA Council "Who will rid us of this turbulent team?". The Council will then meet in session to offer prayers for the souls of promoted clubs during which a chicken will be sacrificed in solemn acknowledgement of the task they are about to perform.
A rider will then be despatched to parley with the EFL council in Warwick Castle and if in agreement, the EFL will declare a feast day during which much merriment and debauchery as befits such a splendiferous event will take place. Finally the EFL will formally countersign the Royal Decree (Regium Decretum) and issue the proclamation "Promovere ad gradum!" or "Promote them to the next level!"
The decree will then be conveyed to the centre of Barrow (Civitatem Centrum) by mule in the traditional manner.
