Well Done Guys Thoroughly Deserved
Gonna seem really weird having a Cumbrian Derby.
And the other good news today if you listened to the DCMS Minister at teatime they're working to a plan to have at least some people in the grounds when the new season starts. Now, let's hope there's somebody on Fishergate hill to programme that computer so that the season starts with 6 to 8 games against long-distance opponents in the hope that by the time you get round to playing local clubs things are back to normal with grounds full of fans.

Still going Matty. Have decided to finish off with a birthday brandy sat in the garden, staring at the stars and counting the satellites passing overhead.
It has been a truly momentous day. Must admit though as with all these things it is tinged with a little sadness. We've lost so many fans this year before we even get to the likes of John Rolands and Brian Arrowsmith although thankfully at least Brian knew this day was on the cards.
48 years is a lot to digest. Its my entire youth and adult life. Its only at times like these that you allow yourself to reflect on how entwined your life has been with the fortunes of club. A lot of memories.
