Undisclosed fee! Jog on... What a joke.

"I want to be nearer to family"... How is Stockport any closer to Shrewsbury? This stinks of him falling out with the gaffer, not liking the new system and getting a way out with a bag full of cash!

Thanks for the memories, but we're bigger than one player. I just hope we haven't been mugged.

Cooper is Marmite many in the game don't fancy working or playing for him. IMO Quigs mind was made up as soon as Cooper was announced as Barrow manager. He is gone we move on.

Lets be fair instead off making massive rumours up id imagine they will pay him more a week. The treck too stockport is a lot less than to barrow for home match days. So he is probably saving a lot off money through that and making more a week. He's coming to the tail end off his career and maximising his income you cant moan at that.
All opinions expressed are my own , not here to cause kick off just enact debate.

There is no way he's gone on a free.
I can see PH letting him go for a small gesture as a favour
No, PH is a successful businessman. Would have liked it it the fee was disclosed but hope we got between 250-500k for him.

Scott Quigley was the one player who spoke out during the crisis last season and was instrumental in helping us retain our league status so we should all thank him.for that and wish him all the best for the future.
Barrow AFC prides itself on.being a family club which looks after it's players and staff,do thank you Scott for alll you have done.
Give over. Whether he plays for us or Stockport he still has to turn up for training every day somewhere near Manchester and play home and away games Saturday and Tuesday. The only difference is that he doesn't have to travel to Barrow for the home games. I don't buy this 'nearer home' stuff.
Good player, sorry to see him go. Next.

We're not Barcelona and as mentioned above Cooper is pure marmite and players leave when management change. I'm surprised more haven't left. We're incredibly lucky to be in the position we're in. My worries are now, how do we replace our top scorer, with equal or greater ability this late in the window.

Spot on.
Money talks.
Let’s get realistic the lads that have signed for us from Carlisle etc won’t have had Barrow on their bucket list.

Did people actually read Quigs tweet ? he states about losing a family member if anyone on here thinks QUIGS would use that as part of an excuse to leave should be ashamed of themselves, let's give the guy some credit!

Check again. The statement has been deleted from his Twitter. Weird.
