Keeping well thank you, GT. Looks like we're going to be watching Barrow in the Football League next season, if the team and the virus keep heading in the same direction. It'll be my first time as I didn't get to any of the trial matches in the winter, so that's something to look forward to. How are you doing?GTBLUE wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 9:39 pmThose were the day's Zak. How are you doing mate. Long time since those crazy days on the bus.Zak wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 9:05 pm
In the aftermath of a 4-0 loss at Alfreton, Dave Bayliss decides that the group banner is causing too much of a distraction to the players. He tells club officials that he doesn't want to see it at future matches, and the officials politely request that the banner is not displayed while relegation is still a possibility. Word gets out to fans, and a majority agree with Bayliss.
Nothing further is said, and we all have a pleasant weekend.

The remainder of the flag funds raised was enough to purchase two “laser etched” club crests which hopefully can go up in the fanzone bar. I think they look great. Hope you like them

Laser bros (Hull) they are on facebook go and give them a thumbs up! Just a young business setting up and his workshop was broken in to (how lousy is that when he’s just starting up) but he's now back up and running. Said he loved our club crest.

Looks like a good job Jonty, well done

They are decent size too. 700mm high. Will need a bit of an adjustment for wall mounting but sure our GMV team can help out with that!

Looking good.Regarding the Kelly's Hero's Banner. If we manage to retain our League status, I think it would be good if it could be raised on a flagpole to fly over the ground as a fitting tribute to the Rob,the team, the board and everyone who helped make it possible.

Re: Kellys heroes flag holker street end
Before you say " Idea Binned"would it not be better to canvas those who contributed to it ,myself included before you come up with a decision. If it was on the stand at the Holker St End,it will get lost amongst all the other banners that are already there.
Re: Kellys heroes flag holker street end
Casson didn’t do too much right off the pitch but I think the refresh of the club crest was a good move.

Aye, sorry, that’s a dreadful idea.Methuselah wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 11:14 pm Before you say " Idea Binned"would it not be better to canvas those who contributed to it ,myself included before you come up with a decision. We don't have a flag pole---well we do but it is a horizontal laying on the ground flag pole. Hope that idea doesn't catch on.Methuselah wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 9:48 pm Looking good.Regarding the Kelly's Hero's Banner. If we manage to retain our League status, I think it would be good if it could be raised on a flagpole to fly over the ground as a fitting tribute to the Rob,the team, the board and everyone who helped make it possible.![]()

I miss walking down the road and seeing a flag flying on match days.
