Just a quick word on the areas surrounding the bases of the two floodlights on the popular side.
This morning we covered them with a temporary covering, this will be replaced with a proper fence/barrier in the coming weeks. The covering is fairly safe but not meant to be stood on, it’s just a stop gap measure to stop people falling into the space that was created by the floodlight company.
Thanks to Exile, mrsenario & big Al for their help on what turned out to be a challenging morning weather-wise.

All plaques have now been put back on the HSE cladding, thanks for the patience of their owners while we got it sorted.
There is also now a temporary fence around the base of the West terrace floodlight.
Thanks to Whitty, mrsenario and exile for their help on Sunday.

For those of us who live away from the Peninsula who want to help out, what’s the best way of throwing a few quid into the pot for materials etc?
Ian - can you advise?

It’d be very nice to have a small pot of cash to start with Dave - apart from the tools we were given or bought (some of which have disappeared) we have pretty much zero £ at the moment.
I’m sure for anyone who wanted to donate a couple of quid that the Trust would help us out at the moment by allowing you to send it to them letting them know it’s for ground maintenance.
I might be speaking out of turn here, Steve, Chris, would that be ok?
Feels like October 2012 all over again.

Good news travels fast! Well done that instigator. Sure I read something about it in the Paphos Post out here in Cyprus.

We are passing on a donation from a gent on this thread and matching it from the Trust. As usual, Ian hasn't asked for a lot, but we are getting a lot. Leave Ian talk about that though. I will say though, half an hour of three tradesmen looking at the area and we have a plan to sort out a load of issues.
