In amongst all the euphoria around staying in the EFL, let's not lose sight of what was a fantastic result. FGR could have taken a big step towards securing a play-off spot if they'd won the game. They'd binned their manager recently and were three unbeaten so seemed to be moving in a more positive direction.

Says who?
I said I thought that ,other views are available ,in the past he has been in charge of teams 9 periods only one ever as Manager.
In the past he said he did not want the job.
I just hope he stays.

My guess and that's all it is is Neil McDonald as Manager,Head Coach hopefully Rob Kelly or Manager if he wants it and Sam Hird.

I'd still love to know what went on in Jolley's final hours. It's clear there was some really bad blood.

It means more to me tonight to see things like that than most of you would ever know. I appreciate it 💙
Your commentating last night was of the highest order Adam. A consummate professional bringing the game to those who can't be present.
This season has probably brought home to fans just what a great job you do. Those who are usually at games don't get to hear the AJ screams of euphoria as we score---especially the last gasp winners or equalisers. How you don't drop the mic and run out on the terraces to celebrate must take a lot of self control.
Thank you for doing what you do and most especially last night.
I'm sure there are lots of us are 100% in agreement with you on this.
La lucha continua...

Sounds like they've had to deal with some shite this year! Unbelievable turnaround.

Great decision getting taylor and brown back involved with the squad. Amazing what a bit of man management skills can achieve.

Not too pleased that we'll be playing you next season but that's what you get for hiring John Sheridan. Always had a bit of a soft spot for you guys since reading about you in some old football book as a kid in the 70s (I'm assuming it would have been dated about 1973 but I would have picked up a few years after that).
cheers mate , cant wait to play swindon next year

I've only got 'That's the Way (I like it)' so that had to do. Uh-huh, uh-huh!
As long as it's not "Please Don't Go" (by way of a plea to a manager who we hope we don't have to beg to stay???)

We sang the same song after the Brentford match in 1967 to Don McEvoy (well . . . erm . . . no we didn't because the song didn't even exist back then).

Let me re-phrase that . . . we issued the same sentiments.

Don went.

It was noted that Rob Kelly made reference to David Dunn in his aftermatch interview, but no mention of Jolley.

He never mentions Jolley. He just seems to gloss over that period as if it never happened. We went from Dunn to Kelly and we won't talk about the bit in-between. Get the feeling Jolley just rubbed everyone up the wrong way and nobody (including Rob) could stand the bloke.

I think Rob Kelly is a professional and decent if I am correct Dunn brought him in so will show him respect.
I am just glad he went when he did.
Like you say its about opinions but this season has been a roller coaster which nearly cost us dearly.
