In the 3rd round last season Lincoln expected to receive £125,000 for their tie against Liverpool. Add on perimeter advertising, sponsorship opportunities etc.
Barrow get £75k from Sky for showing the Villa game apparently.

I see that the Barrow V Aston Villa match time and date is now on the website.
Tuesday 24th August at 19.45.
I am now hoping the tickets for the match will become available from tomorrow for season ticket holders. Can anyone advise me whether we will be able to get them online or with it being such a high profile match we have to turn up at the club to buy them.

I'd imagine it will be both as it is for every game.

Season ticket holders first....I think the club would prefer us all to buy online as there are only 2 members of staff who also have to look after the sales within the shop and answer telephone enquiries, and hours of opening have changed too

Surely when there is a big game on it's all hands on deck.

I would presume Charlie that they are getting on with their own jobs which will also be busier than usual sorting things for the Villa game.

I'm sorry Mike has got this wrong.

GDPR legislation means that we can store your personal information that you give when you join. It's against the law for us to then share that with another organization (in this case Barrow AFC) without individual consent.

A form was sent to everyone with a membership a few weeks ago. If people don't complete that form then the trust will be unable to share their details to Barrow AFC and thus won't be able to add them to a priority list.

We are currently taking a lot of new memberships and renewals so please bare with us while we work through the pile (this is done by volunteers with time jobs), more news will follow in the next few days.
Got my trust renewel, but certainly never got any consent form etc..
Have you sorted it out now, Giving consent so the Trust can share your info with the club & PS Great story Re Captain of the school team getting the chance to lift the Euro Cup before any other Englishman, Should be a Question of Sport Quirky Question ;-)
