Many thanks to the supporter who gave us a decent section of palisade fencing today.
These are the sorts of donations that save us spending money and allow it to be used on other projects.

Just to add the toilets and first aid room are complete and ready for use, just the waste to tie in from the first aid room which should be done this week.
There's now toilets on the popular side and behind the goals by the corner flag, no need to use the open air ones by the floodlight room which should please a few.
Please can everyone try to keep them tidy as a lot of work has gone into them

A bit of a cold wind today. Our numbers seem to be dropping after the first surge of interest.
We are making progress slowly but surely. Once the weather gets warmer we can get on with more outside painting.
I personally would like to see something done with the Holker Street wall (on the outside) come the better weather. The first impression approaching the ground is one of neglect. I expect the Vanerama boards will have to be replaced for next season--- is it Motorama the new sponsor?
Another project will be to get a new flag pole as we don't have one now thanks to the storm last year. I miss seeing the flag on match day.
I will be down on Tuesday to give the First Aid room (well steel container) a good clean. Due to the lads working in there on plumbing and electrics I had to put that on hold.
We will get there.

Not sure numbers are down Elaine, we definitely have enough for what is going on at the moment. Hovering between 8 & 12 on a regular basis is very good....a figure most non league clubs would be envious of. Some of the jobs coming up in summer might require a few more hands though.
Great to see so many there today, even though myself, Exile and Whitty couldn’t make it.
Hopefully some exciting news on funding for us later this week, just a few things to confirm first

Well numbers have diminished from the 30 or so who first attended.
Allowing for absentees for various reasons differing weeks means we need a decent number of people showing up especially on the Sunday after a home game.
Anyway...

The usual “after game” visit this Sunday for anyone interested in helping out for a few hours. As well as the normal maintenance jobs, the day after games visits are always busy, especially on the cleaning and litter picking fronts. If you feel like you could spare a few hours we’ll be there ftom 9:00am till about dinnertime.
The NSC confirmed this week that they will be donating the single largest amount of cash we’ve received since starting up again for the complete refurbishment of the physio room.
We’ll be planning what needs doing between now and the end of season and then do all the work once the season finishes. Together with the electrical donations we’ve received we have more than enough to make it a physio room that is once again fit for purpose. Without that donation off the NSC we would definitely not be able to take that job on so thank you very much to Andy and all of the NSC members for agreeing to this.
While that job is covered by the NSC and the donated electrical items, we still need anything anyone can spare for other projects. If you feel as though you could donate even a small amount of cash or equipment please get in touch with any of us, the club or through the Trust.

I think I remember the ice machine Dave. If I’m not mistaken that was that for use at the training facility. Anyhow, I’ll find out.
