I think that Casson cannot delegate , his money his ways hence conflict with Paul Cox who as an experienced Manager got sick of it
I think thats quite a hurdle for the club to get over. Casson has to have the final word to ok things but cannot respond to queries in a timely manner being thousands of miles away. When its dinner time here its the crack of dawn in Texas.
The club effectively has a part time owner. Not saying hes neglecting his club duties but his business in the US is his main priority.

Casson has taken us from being a part time team languishing in the conf north to a full time play off pushing team ( we can only go off last season) I wouldn't say we or casson is failing .

In terms of whether we (or Casson) are a success or failure can only be measured by our ambition. Objectively we are doing better than at any time in my memory but if you measure it against the public ambition both on and off the pitch, we are behind schedule.
Be realistic about the ambition and we're doing ok. Maybe the best lesson Casson could learn. It's been said before I know.
The fact that our expectations were so high going into this season and that we are now feeling disappointed that we aren't [SwearFilter] the league are probably testament to that.
Maybe we could get an embarrassing date printed on the sleeves of our jerseys. Gaylords.

Cassons dead set on promotion this year, even in the post on the main site about the new Physio link mentioned the word "promotion". Theres no shame in admitting that the club is a mid table side and is behind in the leagues pecking order. It can be for a few seasons before a push needs to be made.
Last season was a success on the pitch but as anybody knows , FA Cup 3rd rounds don't come every season for non league sides. Neither do unbeaten runs and sales of 3 players at around £250k. There are 2 players from last seasons squad that have played the opening games and there is a new manager to be put in place.
Settle in this league and get off the pitch sorted.

I think most supporters would settle for stability on the pitch and steady growth and improvement off it if asked.

They should tell the owner then.

Well, if he thinks he's going to get it with the current group of players, he's in for a big disappointment!

I don't think Moore is the right man but think he will be given it if we win Saturday.

Got to remember Fin that were a rudderless ship without direction, failing miserably in everything we do on & off the pitch, Imagine how we will do when we get out shiit together.
