Is that true? I know they were under a transfer embargo but I'm sure I read somewhere that this had been lifted.

Their forums mention it in nearly every post. It was for 2 seasons, and they've completed 1 of them so far.Suffolk Blue wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2020 11:25 amIs that true? I know they were under a transfer embargo but I'm sure I read somewhere that this had been lifted.
There's even less logic for Ryan Lowe to leave Plymouth for Bolton than there is for Ian Evatt to leave Barrow for Bolton. Plymouth will be a league higher than Bolton next season and are a club with average attendances last season not much below Bolton's. I know there is a factor of Lowe being at Bolton before and it's possible he would rather live in the north than the south but, other than that, I see absolutely no reason he would take the Bolton job as it's a step down at the moment.RedWeb wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2020 10:52 amEvo is a choice based on looking at a league table and hearing some interviews on social media. Probably more of a fans shout that a football insider's opinion. We all love Evo but Ryan Lowe is who I'd want if I was a Bolton fan (based on the names touted). Ian needs to have a solid first EFL season with Barrow before he is a serious shout for big clubs.
What a crock you write, we have spent 3 seasons in league 1 in the last 40 years, our average home gates are 12000 and that when we were rock bottom of league 1, so yeah I'd say we are a BIG club.Paulmichael wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 8:51 pm Bolton's natural level is about league one, which is where they've spent far more of the last 40 odd years than the premier league, also take away followings away and they only average about 8 000 at home, we will probably average around 3500 anyway, so not the massive club and step up everyone makes out
So what about 83-94 you spent in the bottom 2 divisions? Also you averaged 10500, take away big followings from Portsmouth Sunderland and all the north west teams you'd have 8/9000Johnno wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2020 12:45 pmWhat a crock you write, we have spent 3 seasons in league 1 in the last 40 years, our average home gates are 12000 and that when we were rock bottom of league 1, so yeah I'd say we are a BIG club.Paulmichael wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 8:51 pm Bolton's natural level is about league one, which is where they've spent far more of the last 40 odd years than the premier league, also take away followings away and they only average about 8 000 at home, we will probably average around 3500 anyway, so not the massive club and step up everyone makes out
Hang on we had 11200 ST holders, and 13 years out of 140 in the bottom 2 leagues is not tinpot trust me.Paulmichael wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2020 1:11 pmSo what about 83-94 you spent in the bottom 2 divisions? Difference there is they THOUGHT they were big clubs, in reality none of them ever were, barring a couple of seasons for Notts.Nigel Bamford wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2020 12:56 pm Notts County thought they were a big club...and Stockport...and Chesterfield...and Wrexham...they all thought it would never happen to them.
I think that would be a tremendous offer, and I think your fans would wish him well and thank him.behind the goals wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2020 2:43 pm If Ian Evatt leaves will the Club invite him back for any promotion party and how would it go down with the fans.
