Bramall might play up front with Quigley leaving room for one more midfielder alongside Hardcastle & Kay in a 5-3-1 with Eardley & Brough wing backs.

Otherwise if back 4 then not sure who he will drop from Platt, Jones or Brough if he's gonna play Eardley & Davies.

I'm sure the manager has his plans

Let’s hope he’s another Platt/Jimmy Dunne type of loanee....

Think you might find Kay playing further forward rather than a wing back role. Does look like 4-4-2 system might be employed more often now. Thing with Platt & Jones is they re both young CB and not always the right thing to play two youngsters like that at the back all the time in this league. What is interesting is what might happen to Hird?

Wont be playing again unless we end up with a shed load of injuries imo. 4-4-2 had to happen to tighten us up good call.

Good solid centre back, right back, winger with pace - just that experienced midfielder and possibly a striker unless this Richardson? (Been that long i can't remember his name) is close to fitness ? But looking good so far

Not played for a year due to tendonitis in both knees, Fits the profile of many of this seasons signings.

Nice start to the week 3 points Saturday and 3 new signings within the week.
Priority now a couple of decent mid fielders to provide a better shape and hopefully the results will follow

Dixon
Eardley Platt Davis
Bramall Hardcastle Beadling (Biggins?) Kay
Quigley (James?)

Or
Dixon
Eardley Platt Davis Brough
Bramall Hardcastle Beadling Kay
Quigley James

Obviously be interesting to see any other players that possibly will come in before the window shuts....

Jamie Devitt being heavily linked would be a great addition in the CAM role.

Think he was being talked about a while ago. Am I right in thinking he is very injury prone and if so leave well alone.

Not too sure he'll get in the starting team with those signings tbh, we still have Barry, M.Jones, Nthle injured and then the lads already not getting in the squad (Gribbin, Zouma etc)

I am slightly surprised that we should sign another central defender, but perhaps MJ wants another experienced player there. Although Platt hasn't done much wrong, Eardley, Hird and Davies in a back four would look pretty solid and, hopefully, calm under pressure.
