Link below Friday evening sport show interview is 30 minutes into the programme.

Clemence saying the Club can't just get rid or make players leave the Club when players have Contracts it's totally up to the individual player.
Absolutely it is and in the same way we can't make current players we want to keep sign new improved contracts or leave for a fee if they wont sign a contract with us. They are entitled to run there contract down and see what's available elsewhere and leave for nothing.

Agree to many on here think players should sign improved contacts and we should be spending big money on players not going to happen.

Players now hold all the cards it happens at the top and bottom, if Spence Campbell & Gotts are happy to move on the Club are powerless and we move on.

That’s not something I’ve heard our board say. The players hold all the cards these days the clubs can make them an offer accept an offer from another club but it’s down to the player to agree. Brough and Whitfield in the last two seasons chose to run down their contracts and move on to a club at a higher level. That’s the transfer system In modern day football

City fans seem to think he is off following a post on his Instagram account. A picture of the day he signed in 2022 with a cryptic caption "107 games 19 goals later, time flies" That could mean he's off anywhere of course.

Goals per game ratio not up to the required standard. ;)
Don't let the old man in.

Nice too see our noisy neighbours Carlisle are doing a bit to try and stop relegation by signing some good experienced pros whilst we’re out shopping in the bargain bin…

They are in a different stratosphere to us when it comes to finances plus it has not done them much good so far this season. The signings we have made look decent IMO with the possibility of two more to come.

If you think they’re that good you could always go and watch them Saturday afternoons. Might give you more pleasure than you seem to get out of following Barrow

They have the ability to spend an absolute fortune on signing an entirely new squad. We don't. The only gamble on their part is that they could have a lot of expensive players on long term contracts if they do go down, which I don't think they will as they seem to be signing players that Williamson has got the best out of previously.

It'd be a monumental [SwearFilter] up if they did go down given the money spent to be fair.
Popular side since '03.
