Got told today a certain Board member is saying to people that ask him, that what DB says about the budget is wrong, and that you can double it.
This is getting ridiculous now. Someone says "a board member is saying to people etc". and it is passéd around as a fact. I don't believe that due to the fact that an actual sum of money wasn't mentioned so how can you double what wasn't said.

Bayliss equated the proposed budget to paying each player of an 18-man squad just £150 per week next season.

So according to that board member we can afford to pay each player £300 a week? In BSNorth or whatever it will call itself next season?

Don't forget when you work out the budget, as well as player's wages, you need to factor in not only Bayliss', but that Ash Hoskin, and any other staff who would receive a wage (or expenses): physio, kitman, etc.

Then you need to factor in travelling costs (coach hire, etc) and accomodation costs (don't know how many game we would have overnight stays for in the Conference North.

Be a lot easier if the club just called an AGM and were truly honest about the financial situation

There's a lot of game playing going on, understandable but not very edifying.

I understand why Bayles would want to apply pressure through the paper but now, as a result, we've got 'off the record' directors feeding stuff back. Just get whatever is feasible sorted, one way or the other.

I want who the manager is resolved, then an A.G.M in May. Then at least those who can get there can have their say, and must.
